Truck RACE thread --- Gateway

The absurd idea of Kyle Busch having 5 wins in what is a development series and his fans champion that...it’d like if Mike Trout went down to Double A and hit 50 HR’s. I don’t get it.

Good stuff

he enjoys beating up on the truck drivers is what I believe, opinions vary.
Like they showed the truck winners this year and he had 5!!! 5!! That’s so absurd to me, I can’t make a case for why anyone would be okay with that other than it’s their favorite driver. When JG raced down in Busch with Pepsi and Ray in their 24, it always seemed odd to me.

I wish Cup ran something that broke up the monotony of their season like The Triple Truck Challenge. Someone bring back the Winston Million.

It got a little ugly, Friesen gave Eckes the boot.I thought sure they were going to throw one of their hair trigger cautions

Couldn’t he hire better drivers to get him owner points? No trolling just asking, Biffle is waiting around. Hire that guy to get owner points

I worry less about Busch's motivations because they really don't matter anymore than what motivated Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick to chase Xfinity titles once they were already established Cup stars. I assume Busch just loves to race and win. It's on the sanctioning body to get control of the situation, which they mostly have.

way different times back then

Thatta Boy Ross! Best celebration in NASCAR! I will be purchasing future Chastain gear.

I don’t stay up late very often but I wanted to see Ross Chastain win and he did! Go Ross!!!

I applaud Busch for what he does for the Truck Series. If not, KBM and possibly DGR-Crosley wouldn't be out there.

Can't stand him running for Gibbs in Xfinity tho.

Happy Ross got redemption for last week, he's my pick for the championship.

I think Christian Eckes and Chandler Smith will be your KBM lineup next year, those kids can drive

What I "remember" hearing from the Booth last night was that KBM driver average age was 17.7 years old. Now that's contributing to NASCAR in giving opportunity to the young up-and-comers -- just keep Kyle Bu out of the Truck.
