Had a second, and thought I'd get this all warmed up. Let's gooooooooo!

I appreciate the inexorable march to the top of kids off the dirt tracks of North America.

Super excited for this kid.

Tyler Reddick is nothing more than a B+ driver and he is going to be exposed in 23XI equipment this season…… betcha he’s going to finish like 14th in points AT BEST while KFB competes for a championship in his old 8 car.

See you have to understand that Revman isnt going to recognise this thread because Reddick was in a Chevrolet. He didnt appreciate that

I think Tyler Reddick is one of the best young talents in Nascar(mid twentysomethings and younger). A good argument could be made that he has accomplished the most with what he has got based on his performance in RCR equipment.

I think he is really good on the technical tracks where I believe the drivers talent matters the most. I look for him to run well at Homestead this weekend where tire management is critical.

Personally I am partial to Chevrolets, all of my old hot rods where Chevys and old habits are hard to break. I am going to really miss seeing Reddick driving one of them.

But I do believe that leaving RCR for a TRD car is a step up for him and the results will show. I think he is a future cup champion and on his way to a HoF career.

Is there a button for could not possibly disagree more?

I don't really see a big difference in the quality of equipment between 23xi and Rcr so not sure what's going to be exposed.

Exactly, and in this respect, I am excited for Tyler's rookie year.

I remember when Reddick was driving Brad's trucks, I thought he was a bum. He had speed, but kept finding new ways to blow a race in clutch situations. Missing a shift on a restart, stalling it out of his pit box, wrecking the truck with a careless move, and so on. Well I was obviously wrong about him, because he clearly had the talent all along and put it all together when he got enough seat time in Xfinity. It's like once he got that first win in the Ganassi car, he was one of the best drivers in the series.

He didn't set the world on fire in Jr's 9 car, but ran one hell of a race when it mattered most at Homestead and won the title. Then came back a year later with RCR and won another title while being in contention for the win every single week.

Now we are seeing what he can do in Cup, despite his mediocre equipment. He is clearly RCR's best driver since Harvick left.

Door, Bumper, Clear.....Tyler talks about the RCR stuff a bit...I am not wrong. I think Tyler would have stayed had Rolex Ricky been more accommodating long term. Blindsided? My ass. Welcome Tyler. Can't wait to watch him win Fontana. Calling it now.

This thread has aged like warm milk. Why would we ever appreciate a driver who literally has the worst stats out of any driver who has attempted a Cup Series event in 2023? You might argue he’s as bad as Ty Dillon…. But he has significantly better equipment than Ty Dillon. Kurt Busch won a race in that car last season and even Ty Gibbs ran 19th all day in it. Tyler Reddick is a B+ driver and I’m giving him the benefit of the DOUBT when I say that because the numbers show that he was being carried by RCR equipment and when the lights come on he’s truly a 39th place driver at best. @Revman, I am disappointed in your crew for picking this guy over the Busch brothers!

I think it will be apparent next season pretty quickly what kind of choice Reddick made.
its so annoying that i have to click 'show ignored content' every time you post
