That particular race in the linked article (Texas spring 2015) is not a good example of another driver being "aggressive" toward Logano. It was a case of Harvick having a "vendetta." I don't know what TV showed, but I had seats above pit exit, overlooking turn 1. Harvick was into the 22 many times throughout the race, including rear bumper on corner entry, and targeting the 22 quarter panel several times. It was flat out dirty driving.
More to the point, I have not seen Logano complain about being raced aggressively. Certainly not in the last five years or so.
To your other point... I think the market for kerosene soaked rags has declined a bit with recent retirements, but is still a sizable market...
