I'm smoking a slick on my grill for a cheap high.
A slick what?

Rain delays suck. I'm combating the racing void by smoking a tri-tip in my Weber. The coals are almost ready

ESPN should keep the camera on Nicole
Not according to Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone. He want's sprinklers on the track to make F1 MORE exciting.
LOL Yeah, I heard that! What a maroon...
And you are right, VaDirt. F1 races can be more exciting when weather plays a part in race day strategy. But I like to see the cars performing at their peak and you can't get that on a wet track.
You don't get that with Steve Wallace in dry weather either, but he's still exciting to watch.
Rain should start tapering off over the next half hour. If it stops by 4, we will race tonight.
I hope so. I don't want to watch no "let's hurry up and race and get the hell outta here", non-barnburner, type race on Monday.
If called, Monday at 10am EST (as dpkimmell just said) on ESPN.
I'll set the dvr for an eight hour time frame - just in case.
Might want to set it for a 10 hour time frame, 60% chance of rain tomorrow.
Will do.
Jet dryers being called to the track at Watkins Glen.
What's the ****ing point?

I was waiting on the word it was canceled for today. Guess they wanna keep trying today.
Sounds like someone was listening to Journey up in Race Control.
"Don't stop, believin'"
I heard it could clear up this afternoon/evening. If they can keep track dry enough to maybe get the green flag thrown around 5 or 6 maybe they can get most of the race in?
Per NASCAR.....
Dryers on track, looking at about 1:45 or more to dry. Average time of this event is 2:22. Could run to approx 8:00-8:10
Don't think that will happen.
NASCAR should never try to get part of a race in.
This IndyCar race is stupid
