Weather check in...

Cold, snow flurries that we weren't supposed to get - same old, same old!! I thought today was supposed to be part of the "warm up" we're supposed to be getting which includes Sunday. We'll see if that happens at all. Then we're in for an awful storm Monday and Tuesday, but they're not quite sure how it's going to go since it's depending on how the air masses collide. I wish they'd be wrong about the snow just once this year. They're definitely wrong about nice weather a lot of the time. grrrrrrrr.......

Looks like at this point they are calling for snow, earlier they were saying rain and sleet. Looked at forecast before i went to bed last night and it changed quite a bit from Friday mornings' forecast. I'd much rather have the snow, it would be a mess with rain, a lot of flooding that is for sure. i have 21 inches of snow in backyard right now. Just bought a new snowblower so winter can kiss my butt....lol. Just looked at accuweather page and it looks like a big N'Oreaster....aayyyah...lol, seriously looks like all snow at this point for us on east coast. I have that day off so at least i won't have to battle with the roads.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr... just shows the difference here. We're getting excited about it getting in the mid 20s instead of single digit ... while the rest of you are....... BRAGGING... LOL Watch it or we'll have to send an icetruck down to ya'll with a whole lot of snow. :)
 
Warm and humid has its drawbacks. A severe thunderstorm is moving through --- heavy rain, wind and small hail. Been moving through for the last 15 minutes.

It must be letting up somewhat --- just got my TV signal back.

Satellite 'net is still out though --- operating on dial-up.

How do you like the satelite Internet, i was thinking about going that route!? Getting Wildblue with either the Dish Network or Direct Tv, I have Comcast right now and i hate the packages they have, really ticks me off that i have to pay another $8 a month to get Speed channel and a bunch of other sports channels i don't want just because it isn't included in my basic digital package. Anyway i know that is off topic I'll start another thread.
