The game is simple, just pick the drivers that will not be advancing to the next round to wins point that don't matter!
 
Dillon
Bowman
Cindric
Suarez
 
Bowman, Dillon, cindric and Briscoe.

Byron could easily replace one of these guys because he just hasn't had any momentum and not much speed recently.

I don't think so, and here's why: he's am easy one to justify picking off at a later date. Think about it this way, if he makes it to the round of 8, and you're one of the drivers fighting to the last second to make it to Phoenix against the 1 car, then he's N easily justified driver to wreck to get yourself to the final four. He's basically a free ticket to the next round for somebody who. They aren't going to waste that golden ticket in just the first round.

No Way.

JGR keeps that in their back pocket and has Truex knock him out in the next to last race to make sure he doesn't make the Final Four.
 
It pains me to say it, but I'll go with Byron Bowman, Dillon and Cindric. The 48 and 24 have shown no ability to get a decent finish for MONTHS, even when they have decent speed.
 
Bowman - only 2 top 5's since his win in the 3rd race of the year. No idea how he keeps this ride to be honest
Cindric - great equipment, but rookie driver, I expect him to get pushed around
Dillon - not a fan of him, I'm just hoping he doesn't advance
Briscoe - hasn't been running well at the types of tracks these 3 races are at.

Martinsville would likely be a simple spin from which you could recover. Dumping someone at Bristol or Darlington will result in race ending damage. I don't think Phoenix is on the table because NASCAR wouldn't allow it.

Tell that to Joey Logano. What if the 11 is out of contention points wise by then, but wants to make sure Ross doesn't get to Phoenix? Martinsville is absolutely on the table

Because he wins at least one race every year, makes the playoffs every year, the sponsors seem to like him and he doesn't cause problems for the team and likely works pretty cheap. Seriously, this year has been kind of a head scratcher. They showed speed early, but now they seem really hit and miss and when they are fast, something ALWAYS seems to happen to them. You can say the EXACT same thing about Byron this year too. I kind of think the Bowman-Ives combination has run it's course, and I'm starting to wonder about Byron and Rudy. I was expecting a HUGE uptick in performance for the 24 team.
 
Sure is a lot of hate here for Ross, my hope is Hamlin is out soon as possible. He is an ass.

Perfect situation is that Denny crashes himself while getting revenge on Ross. Two birds, one stone.

Because he’s raced like an ass this season, then always is like “sorry I hate driving like that.” But then keeps driving like that. If he was sorry, he wouldn’t keep running people over.
