Who takes home the Championship?

Which is none of them.

And at Phoenix? It's a non factor.

Indeed, I believe NASCAR has told the other drivers to “stay away from screwing up any championship driver…PERIOD!”. We went to Homestead for years for the finale. Sadly saw Carl Edwards get wrecked late to rob his chance for a championship…and then he retired. The last two championship races there were lame (especially the last one), and it seemed clear everyone was staying out of the way. Impossibly the champ 4 drivers were almost always running 1 through 4. Phoenix has been just OK as a finale track. Logano stunk up the joint last year with his perfect car. If someone nails the setup it’s over.

Carl didn't get wrecked, he wrecked himself off Logano's hood trying to block him.

I personally think it's the best final 4 in a long time. I won't be disappointed no matter the outcome.
I definitely think it’s the first final where any of the four could win and most fans would say “Cool!” Although it’s kinda strange on the other hand not having a “villain” to root against and spice things up.

I picked Larson at the start of the playoffs and I’m sticking with it. But you could easily make a case for anyone here.

Byron won the last race at Phoenix in March. Larson was second. The championship 4 finished in the top 6. You'd think it would come down to those two. Blaney has a really good average finish at Phoenix in the NextGen car and is hotter than the other 3. Tough call.

Larson dominated until a late race caution.

i think it will come down to pit crews hms has the best, blaneys is ok, but god help bell. my order is 5 20 12 24

Any of the first timers.

Blaney is on my season favorite 4 list
so I will go with him. Good story rising
from the penalty appeal ashes.

Blaney has had the best car in 2 of the 3 Phoenix next gen races. He finished 2nd this year when the 5/24/4 spanked the field.

Blaney absolutely has to be to favorite.

Someone who's way more into stats than me can fact check...but is this the first Final Four without a "Veteran Driver" in contention?

Hey…from my seat at the finish line high up near the lounge, it was CLEARLY Logano’s fault!
Well, all I can tell you is that Carl went down to the #22 pit box to apologize to THEM. I would love nothing more to pin that one on Joey, but in this case he was innocent.

I should have added a “sarc” to my comment, as I know Carl took the blame for the wreck. That night when it happened I was sure Joey jacked him up, and I was livid. I was an Edwards fan and it was looking like his best shot at a championship. Didn’t know in that moment it was his last one.

No one did. That’s why I consider him honestly the best driver to never win one over Martin etc. He eventually would have. He also tied for one.

Carl let the pressure inside and outside get to him. Sucks, but I think he made the right choice for him. I miss him, besides being a hell of a driver, he was a super personality behind the mic. and in front of the camera.
