He ain't gonna last too much longer. It's time to start spectating.Holy cow. Damn what a ride and he's ok.
Besides a possible money issue I wonder why they still haven't come up with an idea to make those walls softer like the safer barriers.
As we know the reflexes getting slower is a large part of it. I hope he retires soon.Saw that pic you posted on FB. Damn, that was scary.
John getting too old to be risking his neck.
Holy cow.Mark Rebilas Photography
Damn, he needs to retire, we don't want to lose him. That's Force on the wall.
Video of it.
Me also.I think I would retire?
Eugene, it looked like they had the jaws of life out? Sure looked like John was absent when the car came to a rest. Figure he probably got knocked out when he came back to earth after riding the wall? The good news is he is ok. The car wasn't as lucky. They just finished loading a pile of scrap to haul back to Indy. I guess I had better get off of here and start heading back to California if I want to beat the LA traffic.
They cut the roll cage off. I beat the traffic and just pulled into the shop at 3.00 am.Eugene, it looked like they had the jaws of life out? Sure looked like John was absent when the car came to a rest. Figure he probably got knocked out when he came back to earth after riding the wall?
Have fun dealing with the LA traffic. haha
Even though I have a lot of buddies on both of the Torrence teams and the fact that I worked with both Torrence crew chiefs for many years I still was rooting for Scott Palmer in the finals. If Scott would have won that finals race they would still be partying in Phoenix. Scott put his chassis back together in Torrences shop last year after he had it front halved right before the Indy race and the Torrence teams help Scott out a lot with parts and the use of their shop. Here is a link to a video of the Palmer team and Torrence teams having a little fun in Palmers pit after the race in Phoenix. That Courtney Force win after Dad going out did my heart some good.
She was suppose to race her Dad in the semi but just had to take a solo pass.
The Torrence father / son top fuel semi was gripping stuff as well. NHRA
has me hooked hard early this season. Now if we can get that Jim Dunn team
to nail a good weekend, we will really be happy !
The bottom line is I am back, and my baby girl Courtney Rahal ended up winning the race. That keeps us alive.
Courtney and Graham Rahal tied the knot in 2015.uh.... what? @Nitro Dude do you have something on this?
Kinda neat seeing it in the back of a pickup. Amazing how little there really is.Jonnie Lindbergs chassis just left the JFR chassis shop heading to Jim Heads Ohio race shop after getting a new front half.
