World of Outlaws 2021

Macedo leads early at Huset's, but has an incident in lapped traffic. Gravel then passes Wayne Johnson and Austin McCarl to drive to the victory. Austin McCarl is a surprise second place finisher, and Jacob Allen with a strong third place run. The track got rain during the day and was pretty tough.

Good to see Paige Polyak in the lineup. Solid 4th place finish in the heat. She hardly races anymore, but when she does she usually runs decent.

Wow wow wow, pretty long night at River Cities Speedway in ND waiting for the track to come in, but once it did during the main, it was good. Sheldon Haudenschild chased leader Carson Macedo for 28 of 40 laps before passing him with 11 to go. Sheldon first looked poised to run away with it, but Brad Sweet surged late and passed him in turn 2 on the final lap, winning by 11 hundredths of a second at the line.

The ten time champion flexing his muscle like the Schatz of old. Race goes without a yellow and Schatz blitzes the field on the bottom whlle the rest of the top five were glued to the top. Looked like Sheldon was faster by the end of the race, but Schatz had built a big gap.

Pretty sad version of a WoO race at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, SD ends with Sheldon Haudenschild's ninth win of the year. Small field and poor track surface including something that cut at least half a dozen tires down, including one that led to a scary flip for James McFadden. Thankfully everyone escaped without injury. Good to see Sheldon get another.

That was a nice surprise win for McFadden. Sheldon looked to have a run on him a couple times, but McFadden drove an excellent race. Cool to see local Jason Solwold in the top ten as well.

Brad Sweet puts another nail in the coffin of his top championship challengers by passing early leader David Gravel and running away with it. Was quite a race with a lot of movement up and down in the top ten once they had to deal with traffic.

Macedo starts on the pole, loses lead to Schuchart in traffic, but then takes it back to win the $25,000 finale at Skagit. McFadden got to second and approached Macedo a couple times, but couldn't close the deal. The 40 lap feature went without a caution.

Sweet doing what he needs to do always seems to be right there with Macedo and Gravel maintaining the points cushion

Anyone planning on going to the World Finals? I'm worried about the surface after last year but I heard they re-did it

We are going as always...sadly will just have to deal with whatever track conditions present themselves. Haven't researched or heard if it is any better this year.

Gravel wins a good one at Silver Dollar, four different leaders in the race. Local Colby Copeland holds on for second with a great run.

Stellar race at Chico with Logan Schuchart taking the Gold Cup victory. Tanner Carrick looked like he had a good chance to pull a huge upset, but the tail tank came loose on his car and he had to pull in.
