Xfinity RACE thread --- Atlanta

Yeah and that's how a young driver makes a name for himself is by not allowing a Cup driver to steal those wins and points. My brother thinks that all the cup drivers should start in the back.
Starting in the back is a good one.

Better would be giving the top xfinity series driver the win & points to go with it. After all, its the xfinity series.

Lol Busch fans...

Dude is running around in equipment that my damn dog could win in while 90% of the teams out there barely have the money to make it to the race track every weekend.

What a joke.

Still won and still gets the trophy. You can judge him however you want.
I mean, I respect your fandom but.... are you saying it's ok with you if your guy cheats to win and against the Bush league to boot?
I should add: I don't know if kyle cheated or not, I didn't see anything about the race outside here.

That's not his fault. Sounds a lot better if Daniel Hemric beats Kyle Busch in Atlanta than it does if he beats a no body.

I like watching the races Kyle isn't in as I get to root for other drivers but I think his involvement in the lower series is a help to the younger drivers.

I don't know that he cheated either but I know every team tries to find a way to get an advantage so I'm not surprised or do I care.

But it happens A LOT with Kyle. He's failed post race in Trunks and Xfinity pretty much every single time he's in the races. That's a bit much IMO.
Not accurate.

There's more than enough wrong with this situation but exaggerating reality doesn't add to that.

The Joe Gibbs Racing race-winning Xfinity Series car of Kyle Busch failed postrace height inspection following the event Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway as it was too low in the left front and right front. Busch, who does not get points in the series because he gets points in the NASCAR Cup Series, will not be penalized as a driver. The win for the team will be considered "encumbered" and if it runs the No. 18 truck the full season, it will not be able to use the win to be eligible for the owners championship playoffs or the five playoff points that go with it. It is a Level 1 penalty on NASCAR's new two-level penalty system, which carries a penalty range of 10 to 40 points, a crew chief suspension of one-to-three races and a crew chief fine of $10,000-$40,000.

If NASCAR follows its rulebook, the JGR No. 18 team can't use the win to make the owners title playoffs nor the playoff pts w/it.

Kybu got payed, got the trophy and could care less about the rest because he won another minor league race.

Court is adjourned!

Go check last year out. He failed A LOT. That isn't me exaggerating anything.
Nonsense. "Pretty much every single time"' is a gross exaggeration ... and for the record, I think he and his Cup buddies should get the hell out of the B Main. And the C Main.

Again go check out last year. Happened pretty much every single time. Surely the times he won lol.

First, in 1999 at ATLANTA, Blaney fishished second to Mike Skinner in the Busch Series. After post race inspections Blaney was declared the winner. THEN four days later NASCAR reversed its decision and gave the win back to Skinner. So they almost took away a win!.

My question for today is why wasn't Dillion penalized for dropping that block on the track? Shouldn't that have been considered pit equipment?

Took a look. Chicago in September ... too low. There were 2 Truck infractions to add to that.

Cup drivers in this series makes me not want to watch. I had to mute the whole race anyway cuz of Mikey O'watlrip. Then he double dipped into the truck race as did kbooooosh. its bad enough the jibbs team has 8 trucks in the field ( 4 his, 4 kboooosh) , What a way to lose an audience. last one out, turn out the lights. oh did kboooooohs blame goodyear once again for the flat?

You need some form of anger management me thinks.

Gibbs doesn't have any trucks. Not sure where you're getting this from.

So by that analogy a UFC fighter could shoot steroids for weeks and beat the **** out of his opponent who trained naturally, but it's still okay because he won the fight and got the title right?

What a joke, Kyle Busch runs the xfinity simply out of ego, does so in elite equipment and then talk about how great he is and is the best ever. When you're running in chested up elite equipment I'd hope you'd dominate.

All this garbage about KB is the best driver ever. Spoiled brat who whines and complains when he doesn't get his way and it's everyone's fault but his own. I hope the bastard never wins another race again.

Brock Lesnar cheated in the UFC and pretty much got away with it. I don't see how Kyle cheated he's just a driver, the team in the other hand maybe. Unless he found a way to cut turns I'm not sure how a driver cheats. Did Kyle call for an illegal adjustment to the front end? Could it have been a result of his celebration? I dont know nor care and neither will anyone else next week.

You can call it ego I just see a guy that likes to race and win but as I said you can judge him how ever you want. I hope you are ok when he does win again though.

You make waaaaaaay too much sense for many on this board.

My son walked by as I was watching the race,he said he's seen more fans at a high school football game.I guess this series is dead once TV contract (money)runs out.

Cup drivers in trucks and xfinity get no points, money or trophy. Highest series regular gets the trophy. Points and money are awarded to series regulars in the order they finished.
Watch the cup guys, KB in particular, scurry away like ****roaches...:)
