Xfinity RACE thread --- Atlanta

Makes total sense, Kyle likes to race and win, if the other teams in the lower divisions step up their game maybe they could beat him.
Lol yeah when kyles car is lower than everyone else's in the front it helps

Chex you've been on this forum for awhile, you should know better that they all cheat to some degree if you are not aware of that then you really don't know much about racing.

Everyone does it and it's not cheating until you get caught.

Run that line past your wife once. Stands are MT, not sure if "stages" are a fix, I really didnt watch the saturday races, they were on but i was busy working in my mancave. I had music playing cuz MW is so annoying. So is kybooosh, if he is entered next week, I'll watch the LPGA instead. We have a "high five's all around" when kabooosh crashes, it makes our day.

"Youre not trying if youre not cheating" is ridiculous. Teams pushing the limits & finding grey areas in the books is expected. Blatant cheating, as frequent as Busch in the NXS, is outright laughable.

I love the lack of faith in NASCAR until the Kyle's TEAM is penalized. Then, NASCAR is spot on, & can be trusted. While we are there, how about we believe Brian when he says that attendance, TV ratings, and the racing is just fine? Kind of silly really....but I get it, this isn't about Kyle, this is about principle. :punkrocke

If the sanctioning body doesn’t rewrite the “Busch Rule” he’ll hit a hundred wins in the junior sedan series in a couple years.

Should be a lot of snickers. Two maybe three years past that, they’ll be whining he cheated – blatantly
– in every one of ‘em.

Short review Of the Race ,from at the Race : Atl. Xfinity

Overall I thought the first 2 stages were rather dull and was glad to
see the green checkers. I listened to Eddie D'Hondt navigate Custer through
the day. The 3rd stage, last 10 or 15 laps, was pretty good as the Cup regulars
were going at it. The race had its moments, I give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Biggest sourpuss in nascar today

Kyle there as an owner for the Truck race, and Pockrass pulls that question out of his ass. Typical Pockrass. Pure class.

And this guy is good for the sport? WOW what a jerk. Of course we all knew it anyway. Such a role model for youngsters. Judge Judy would ask him point blank " Are You Thick?"
Maybe nascar should check the air pressure in his head.

fine question imo. He didnt blame Kyle, he simply asked him if hed heard the news. It broke before the truck race even started.

Kyle just cheated me out of my bold prediction for the year. Shame on you kyle. Next year I'll have to add "....with a car that passes post race inspection"

In all honesty though I have no idea what the appeal of running game all these lower league races is to Kyle.

Having Cup regulars win these races is to me, nothing but a big boar. Whether they cheat or not. I tune in to see the young drivers race and check them out. I don't want to see proven Cup drivers dominate this Series. I have heard all the excuses.....sponsors, seeing the young drivers compete against the best. It's all B.S. to me. If its a series for younger drivers who aren't quite ready for MENCS yet and a series for them to show their abilities and gain exposure and experience--then I want to see them drive against their peers. Not against 10 year top series veterans and have the premier series drivers win the top four spots and screw the kids out of wins and points. Rant over.

so what that Kyle goes down to Xfinity or Trucks, that's his perogative. Until Nascar says no Cup drivers in either series, which IMO is not going to happen, the Cup drivers will continue to do this. Like I said you're not trying unless you're cheating and they all cheat from the big teams right down to the little guys. Get over it!

Unfortunately, these Cup guys have nothing to lose by cheating at the lower levels. Until NASCAR starts handing down some penalties that actually hurt, they'll continue to do it.

How would penalties hurt them? The only one that would matter is if Nascar said they were banned from racing in the lower tiers for X amount of races, other than that a monetary penalty will mean nothing.

All of these cars and trucks, including those of Busch and Elliott, pass pre-race inspection.

The teams jack the suspensions in-race, springs sometime sag, shocks can stick and so on. All of them have all the information needed to prevent ride-height infractions post-race.

Ramp up the penalties and it will stop.

So let me get this straight if a Cup regular wins and cheats how is this hurting the highest finishing Xfinity guy who gets the points and the money???
Umm take a look at David Gilliland winning Kentucky. Basically, solely on that performance he got a top ride at the time and M&Ms sponsorship. Do you think he gets held in the same prestige if he finishes second to a souped up car. Hell no. People remember who ends up in victory lane...

So isn't that what racing is all about? Recognition gets you places, been part of the sport any sport really forever.

Of course. As an owner, he didn't expect that question. It's called blindsided. It's called Pockrass.

...but, but, but Kyle is so much better than everybody in that series (never mind that there were several Cuppers there)....and, and, and his equipment is so much better (including that blower out of the hood--How did they miss that?), and so the reason to cheat would be what? Out of spec? Yes. Cheat? bull****. Worthy of consequence? Probably. Big deal? No.

Exactly....so why is everyone getting their panties in a wad?
