Spence is back on the good stuff and I'm all here for it:
Remember when this other kid made a spectacular move to win at Daytona?
Never again.

Plate racing sucks.
He’s actually into the yellow line there. It’s ANY part of the yellow line.[Enhance] a shot a few moments earlier...1st place. Clearly above the line.
I agree that plate racing generally sucks. It was a great individual move though. You guys agree with every other rule that creates mob pack racing but you got a problem with the yellow line rule.

It’s terrible and it's blocking not racing.God it’s so fun though.
The yellow line rule as it stands actually creates more “mob pack racing” by narrowing the racing area on track and limits passing opportunities. You guys agree with every other rule that creates mob pack racing but you got a problem with the yellow line rule.

10.8.3c states "...when the vehicle's left side tires are beneath the left line of the inside double yellow lines that separates the apron from the racing surface while passing another vehicle."darling of the stick n ball threads and he doesn't know where the out of bounds line starts

Emphasis is mine.

Somewhere theres either a video or an article that showcases Keselowski talking about this very thing going through his mind while Edwards was coming down and Brad held his line due to the line rule, thus sending Edwards hurling towards the fans.View attachment 35304
Resulting in stuff like this. But muh safety.
your definitely right FL but watching Haley pass, he put it under both of them when he passed them. He started cutting the corner at the 45 second mark in the yellow and by 47 seconds he was way under the line and he wasn't close to finishing his pass.10.8.3c states "...when the vehicle's left side tires are beneath the left line of the inside double yellow lines that separates the apron from the racing surface while passing another vehicle."

I don't, I haven't liked plate racing ever since they started it. Depending on others to go fast is not racing. Pulling out of line and dropping like a rock is not racing. Waiting for the "big one" is not racing, and on and on and on. Rant off....You guys agree with every other rule that creates mob pack racing but you got a problem with the yellow line rule.
I hate plate racing. I usually do not watch.I don't, I haven't liked plate racing ever since they started it. Depending on others to go fast is not racing. Pulling out of line and dropping like a rock is not racing. Waiting for the "big one" is not racing, and on and on and on. Rant off....
But here ya are.I don't, I haven't liked plate racing ever since they started it. Depending on others to go fast is not racing. Pulling out of line and dropping like a rock is not racing. Waiting for the "big one" is not racing, and on and on and on. Rant off....
Didn't say I don't watch, I just tread the senseless massive pileups. But here ya are.
Fail inspection: “Give us some points and you can keep the trophy”
Avoid a potential wreck by moving slightly below the yellow line and winning by way more than the “advantage” earned you: “No flag for you except the black one”
This is ticky tacky as ****. This wasn’t the entrance of 3, it was the exit of 4
Doesn't mean you can't be a fan of NASCAR still. I absolutely detest plate racing yet I'm still a fan of the sport. But here ya are.
I hate plate racing. I usually do not watch.
The most exciting part for me now is the crash.
Wrong. I started watching again this year. Not every race just some.So you’ve been arguing all night about a form of racing you hate and do not watch about a sport you supposedly do not watch.
Good job screenshotting the moment before he actually went below the line tho[Enhance] a shot a few moments earlier...1st place. Clearly above the line.
The argument isnt that “he did not go below the line”. Read.Good job screenshotting the moment before he actually went below the line tho
I agree it sucks.. he should have won.. but he didn't need to go down there and he did.
But to try to claim he didn't.. well that's just false.
He's still the winner in my books. Although.. I don't have books
