Xfinity RACE thread --- Daytona

I’m dreading tomorrow night and hearing about playoffs all night when in reality whoever gets in has zero chance of winning

Indeed! It's like hyping/arguing over the last team in the NCAA Tournament. At the end of the day they're over analyzing what amounts to a footnote.

At first, I thought having the season finale at a plate track was crazy but the more I think about it's completely irrelevant imo in the ultimate title picture. So let them wreck each other for "entertainment" purposes. Talladega will have a FAR greater impact......

Went and got dinner, how many wrecks did I miss?

Please excuse the noob question, Im just getting into Xfinity this season...

Is Kaulig typically a strong team? Or, do they just really excel at plate races because they’re able to work together so well?

They are extremely good on plate tracks.

Kaulig is usually a top 10 organization every week. Not a winning team often, but always very competitive.

They’re becoming consistently good, lots of Top 5s and top 10s but they’re especially good on plate tracks. They have a lot more money flowing in now, have an RCR alliance, and have been building a lot of new cars.

I'd honestly like to see them move to Ford.

Just to give Ford performance some more options outside of the 22 and 98.

I swear the more Jeff talks the dumber I get. Hands down the king of Common Sense

I didn't mind Jeff Burton as a driver, but now that he's annoying me on a weekly basis from the booth, it has completely tainted all memories/feelings I had towards him as a driver.

Now I'll be watching some old race from 1998 or whatever and find myself rooting against him

So the 11 is basically there to get punted? He can only block so long before his time will run out....

I'm pulling for the 2 fords....

Fords finally getting hooked up could be interesting.

It would be kinda fitting if the Kauligs ran out of fuel in front of the group though.

Kaulig guys need to run the bottom about 1/4 way thru the corner and then take it to the top to protect against that move that Briscoe just pulled
