Xfinity RACE thread --- Michigan

heck yeah especially when they count all the points and money they lose all season long..yeah they learn a lot watching elite cup drivers and crews take opportunities away.

Thay dont lose points or money. Byron will get 2nd place points and money because thats where he finished. Kid had a chance but lost the race, he'll know better next time.

Penske announced last year they were going to run two cars..didn't happen. So He's running Kez, Logano and Blaney and now Hornish in one car. :idunno:.

I know. I get it. Just saying, I wish all the Cuppers would stop running this series.

I'm a Brad fan. But he is no exception to this.

do what? they don't lose points or money? 4 out of ten places were filled with cup racers who could care less about the points, but they sure don't turn down the place money.

They had almost half of the top ten positions money wise but also in screwing up the points. Throw in the points in the stages and don't even figure the money and the e point thing is a joke..Sadler today, nothing on him, but he didn't win that number 1 stage spot.

Who lost money or points? You get the money and points you earn. If Byron recieved 1st place points and money for a 2nd place finish the series would be a joke.

This race was a perfect example of why Cup drivers are good for the series. Had a Xfinity regular and a Cup guy have the closest finish ever in an Xfinity race at Michigan. Byron will get a win but if its next week at Iowa it just wont mean as much for his career.

The Cup regulars aren't running for points. Therefore all the stage points and race points they accumulate basically disappear. You don't think the Xfinity regulars running for points in the series could use those points?

Also you've got Gibbs and Penske gobbling up prize money against a watered down field, when the Xfinity only teams could actually use that to build and get better.

The series is a joke.

we have explained it three ways from Sunday..some people have to ignore what is in front of them in black n white. "everything is wonderful". Remember when I posted that Toyota spends around 7 times more than everybody else?

If Kyle, Brad, Denny, Logano want to run the junior league, let them run their own equipment. Or race for Xfinity only teams.

The fact they essentially race their Cup equipment every Saturday is what really sucks.

Let's see Kyle win 10 races a year driving for Tri-Star.

If the regulars want those points they have to beat a Cup driver for them. Its not impossible as seen by Will Byron's run today.

that's funny right there..he already tried that...FAIL ...but I do agree 100% make all of them start a team, hire people and spend their money and lets see how they do.

I see a lot of stupid sh1t everyday but this might win right here

Oh really? So beating a nobody would mean more for his career than beating a Cup driver. Get real, fact is Xfinity drivers make their names off Cup drivers. Just ask Suarez, Jones, and Larson.

I don't think they will get any of the big Toyota money, or the Ford or Chevy for that matter..let then compete on a level with so many of the other teams in the series.

Some are getting a bit over-heated and angry at other posters. Don't get mad at each other.
None of us created the rules that NASCAR has in place.
I understand the frustration, but don't throw darts at each other. Throw them at NASCAR.
