The same 'flaw' existed with the pre-Chase system. I don't regard it as a flaw, myself.

I think Ganassi made a wise choice with Chastain. The wrecked car bill would be great with JHN

JHN got into him about 40 laps ago. Pit crew cost him 8 spots in two stops to put him back there.
