These 6 minute caution laps are thrilling. I think I saw an old lady with a walker take the lead.

Can't imagine why anyone would want to get rid of stages on road courses.

Stages work everywhere, IMO. It's gimmicky, but the new system has guys racing hard the whole time and using different strategies. That's a good thing. It makes up for tire wear and mechanical failure no longer being much of a factor in the race drama.
