Good winner.
When he was on with Dale Jr he said his health is much better.I'm pretty surprised at his response. Don't think he's cured his dehydration issue.
Make a new folder … “under appeal”.Well I guess all my burnout pictures will be odd now
Heck I only know because I happened to check the thread when I stopped at a rest area I'm driving back home to Maryland tonight.Make a new folder … “under appeal”.![]()
loose wheel lol.
Super-bummed for him that he got caught up in that wreck. Had a fast car and easily would have been a top 5 and likely competing for the win. Sure hope he decides to do more races. Pretty amazing that he was able to come back and show speed like that after 7 years away. Was there ever an update on how he felt after the race? I know there was talk of him being hot in the car which was really concerning considering how he went out 7 years ago.Kasey ends up 15th
Welp…
This is the point of the lap 242 red flag, when I got up and left. I wanted to make it to I-74 before it got dark, and I figured that red flag wouldn't be the last one. I had some chores yesterday and today and just saw the final laps. I expected Love would cross the line first (notice how I phrased that?) although I didn't expect him to have lost the lead between the red flags. Smith drove like maybe Jr. had a conversation with him, so I'm not unhappy with his win."The computer says we're good"
Runs out in that exact moment.
And sure enough, someone did!No doubt someone else will run out on the next restart
This one didn't age well.No chance the 54 and the 8 make it back to the checker
The CW post-race continues to be great, with multiple interviews. Even though this race ran long, they still fit in the top three and more.I'll have to say the difference between MRN and this race thread says a lot. LOL
Sure wish my TV service would carry CW.
I actually had better service for my phone than I do at DoverThis is the point of the lap 242 red flag, when I got up and left. Other than the Stage 3 shenanigans, this was a darn good weekend! I was quite surprised that a higher groove came in; I remembered the bottom line as being the dominant one. They were able to run three-wide through the turns on fresh rubber, something that used to be the kiss of death. The Trucks put on a good show. Cruise dominated the ARCA wreckfest but that was what I expected. Xfinity race offered two great first two stages before they all turned their brains off at the second break.
So many memories came back! Climbing the hills to the grandstands, then walking along the walkway between them and the tower. Looking at the surrounding landscape, including the sand pit across from the back and the traffic coming in on US-1. I wound up among a crowd of race fans that were even more friendly and knowledgeable than usual, some of who had been there for the 2004 last Cup and 2013 last Xfinity races.
From a racing standpoint, I didn't see anything that would prevent a Cup race. Off the track, I did see a couple of things they'll need to spend money on if they want one. I wasn't in them but I suspect the garages will need a lot of work, especially the second-tier ones used by the supporting series. The danged old scoreboard between 3 and 4 didn't work at all, but it was never worth a hoot back in the day anyway. Fortunately, MRN did it's usual decent job of keeping me updated. Back in the day we didn't have the Internet and even though the reception was weak and intermittent (@kkfan91 did you have the same issues?), it was enough to keep me in the loop. They need to update the PA system, including putting speaker back in the Turn 1 grandstands. Parking control was weak to non-existent; Friday I basically entered, parked, and exited wherever I wanted. Saturday was a bit better but I was still able to get out to my advantage, despite what routes and exits the track had published on their maps.
When does my renewal application arrive???
May be a problem with whoever my Consumer Cellular service was piggy-backing off yesterday. I had to throttle back to 3G several times to get anything.I actually had better service for my phone than I do at Dover
