Anwyay, they're fixing Daytona and I think are putting tires up as a barrier today... but it all strikes me as too little too late. And if Nascar is serious, then they also need to be working on the wall for Atlanta next week and all the other tracks. Not just Daytona.

Yes they do and its time the drivers see that it gets done, I am 100 percent behind any of them that choose not to race on a track that isnt safe

OK, finally got to see the wreck. I am so p*ssed off at NASCAR right now. Why wasn't there a safer barrier placed on that wall. Do these idiots not think a car could end up hitting it? I know I'm not one of them fancy ass notebook and slide rule( oh shush) carrying traffic engineers but any idiot can see it should have had one. So TODAY their putting tires in front of it?

Now onto Mike Wallace, get your eyes checked buddy. How in the hell could you not see cars stopped in front of you. Don't try and use the lame excuse the car in front of you slowed. YOU SHOULD HAVE STOPPED.
OK I'm done. Let's go racing.
 
A typical plate show at Daytona, nothing new, nothing different, same same as usual.

I enjoyed the race, but there was some kind of Physics going on in KB's car, wow he took off left in a hurry. Sure hate it for the KB fans.

Has anyone seen an in car camera from his car during his slide to the wall?

The Physics, lack of friction was slick tires and wet grass..along with no safety barriers, another thing that doesn't need to be close to a racing surface..he had absolutely no way to avoid going head on in the wall while in the grass, just along for the ride..

LOL.. I get confused sometimes.. but okay... yeah... it just seemed so odd to me. Anyway.. whatever it was is over. Hope for a speedy recovery for Kyle. Saw a cute pic of him and his wife and dog watching the 500 earlier. I also noticed that Junior was the only one of those interviewed after the race even said anything about Kyle. But of course, Junior's a class act. IMO of course.

funny. but poor stop. and those "lillypads" he was hopping between could have been deadly
