It was kind of a trick question. I think thats 2006, Reed Sorenson's first year behind the wheel of Chip Ganassi's Cup car.

Except it's still a Winston Cup Car, so it's either Spencer or Mears depending on if it was taken in '02 or '03.

Yep my timeline is off :owquitit: In 2006 Dodge was using the Charger not the Intrepid. I just wanted to toss in a good word for Reed anyway :D

It wont let me post the picture but this is in reference to the Mello Yello car.

Did you know that the movie "Days of Thunder" came out prior to Mello Yello running in NASCAR... Movie first, then the real car... Kind of a neat fact.

Even more interesting is that Mello Yellow is a Coca-Cola product. Coca-Cola sponsored the movie and at the same time was pushing Mello Yellow to compete against...... you guessed it Pepsi-Cola's Mountain Dew brand!

Hmmmm, there where also some really interesting sponsor tie in's with the movie Stroker Ace. If you've never seen that one it's a must watch zany racing comedy with some cameo apperances with some of the Great drivers of the late 70's early 80's.........oh and Loni Anderson mmmmmmmmmmmm.

I went to find my usual picture of a crash, but the 36 car the only picture I could find was from the 2001 Daytona 500:(

This is a photo of Joe Fascio's Daytona car. Notice over the driver's door where the driver's name would usually go, spelled out in Italian is "The Flying Italian". Pictured here are (from left to right) Jake Howard owner of Jake's Speed Shop in New Orleans and builder of the motor. In the middle is Joe Fascio the driver and on the right is the car owner Curt Coleman. This car raced at Daytona on February 26th 1955 in the Modified race. The race was scheduled for 125 miles but was stopped on lap 19 after a very serious accident on lap 17. Al Briggs died the next day from burns received in that accident. 68 cars started the race with Joe finishing 29th. The Average Speed of the race was 98.04 MPH. Joe also raced at Darlington and Atlanta GA this same year in NASCAR races.
