3 of my 4 wrecked also. I thought Chase was going to at least help me out in the end, but he ran out of gas.

You have to. You can only use each driver 9 times. And pay attention to the deadlines.
 
Derp, my A- and B-List benchers all out-finished my actives. So many lost points. Plate racing...
 
Darn if I started 3 of my 4 bench guys I'd have been good. Walt rip turned out to be a good call
 
Wow- I was NOT expecting to score the 3rd most points of everyone today after Matt Kenseth (my A driver) wrecked. :eek:

But I'll take it. :D

I was going to swap two of my guys, but was nine minuets too late. I guess I should trust my first choices, instead of over thinking things. With the last two races from last year, and this one, I've won three in a row. Now I'm really scared that this will be the high point of my year.

Don't worry to much about it, it is a long season and all teams will have a few bad races.
Driver Changes question.
Yes change them anyway you like, just remember you can only use a driver a total of 9 times during the season.

Yes, you can change your driers as much as you want up until the deadline each week.

For this week the deadline to select your drivers is Mar 5 2:41pm EST.
 
I'm wondering how the players that will be added on later did yesterday. One of the independent players may be on top of the list.
 
A special shout out to Jamie McMurray who's heroic efforts allowed me to score whopping 158 points.

Only bright side is I didn't use up any of my good driver's 9 starts.

Had Kenseth, McMurray, Bayne, and Ragan. Only can go up from here.

Not what it looks like. We had more than 50 wanting to join the 2017 RF YFL. We only discovered that the YFL had a 50 team cap after that event.. But we have legit teams that tried to register with us before the 500, it is a great problem to have . Good solid teams one a defending champion, and another veteran with at least 2 top 10 finishing seasons. We want the best and I think we need them they add solid value to the competition , and they will get worked in

BTW. I am just yapping Dan @dpkimmel2001 is doing real lifting or making it happen.

I was a ltitle sloppy with the post I wrote before, and want to clarify

That the 51st and 52nd team made their YFL picks legitimately before The YFL Daytona deadline. As most already know The YFL cuts off any new entries or changes after the deadline.
Dpkimmel covered all of that with those teams prior to yesterday's race.

Another heads up for anyone out there playing the game. Not sure if you knew this but you can select out your drivers today for the entire season if that's something that you want to do. You only need to select the week that you are making picks for. The default is always the upcoming race weekend. If you are under the 'My Team' tab, the numbers running left to right, 1 - 13, represent the first 13 weeks of the season. Whatever number is highlighted there is the weekend that you are making picks for. You can choose any race weekend that you desire to make picks for. You don't have to wait for the race week to make picks.

I use this feature a lot, especially when I know that I'm going to be out of town for a race week or weekend.

I may not have explained it well enough but if you glance at that screen you'll know what I mean.

And, thanks to @Greg for all the hard work he puts into this game. I just get to play Brian once and a while but he puts a lot of time into keeping us updated on everything.
