I don't know who is designing the paint schemes for HMS the past couple years, but they need to quit painting the A-pillars a different color. It looks really stupid

It’s supposed to give them an “aerodynamic advantage” or something like that. Obviously, it isn’t working.

Soooo apparently they changed Chase's SunEnergy paint scheme mid-season and the week of running it after making and selling diecast's and merchandise of the previous paint scheme. Has this ever happened?

They still aren't "outlining" the rainbow stripes, which makes the light blue stripe kind of run together with the blue.....

Just a minor nitpick, I'm probably the only one who notices or cares lol
Also Axalta cant get their heads out their asses and create a special logo for 1 race to fit in a blue oval.

Nah, stick with the throwback , it looks so much better IMO

Oh I screamed about that all weekend. In 2015 too lol. The light blue stripe isn't the right shade either.

I am becoming increasingly cranky about a trend that is spreading through Nascar like a cancer. Indeed, threatening the very foundations of the sport. Flat (non-glossy) finishes on race cars are the work of the Devil. Flat finishes are quite clearly "Actions Detrimental To Stock Car Racing" and should be an immediate L2 penalty complete with crew chief ejection from the race track and cucumbered race results.

@StandOnIt - Please add this to your running list of reasons for declining TV ratings and race attendance. I maintain it should be very near the top of the list..:dual9mm:

An exception to this rule should be made for 100% flat black, providing the numbers and sponsor name are simple and old school... as in the classic Furniture Row #78 or the all-black Monster Energy #41. This exception is for flat black only... no other color.

I think your issue lies with shrink fit wraps rather than actual paint schemes.

Paint just looks better.

I agree, do to the failing attendance, lack of seats, and a future TV contract that will have us all squinting our eyes looking at a stream from a cell phone, I lodged a protest with Brian. I'll have to wait though, the treatment center won't take his calls. Helton is no where to be found, they say he bought some leathers had some tats made that said born to run, and is off with his new motorcycle buddies.

said it once and I'll say it again................it's hard to follow a driver or identify anyone in the field when they change the paint scheme each week.

I agree its really dumb that the cars are always changing the paint jobs every race! Its like a sports team wearing different uniforms every game. How dumb would that be. Nobody does that except oregon lol.

I watched some old races and noticed something. How come all the cars used to always have the same sponsor and paint job the whole year but they dont anymore?

Sponsors can’t afford to sponsor a team for the whole season anymore
