An interesting note. Even though that's supposed to be next weekend's cars, the Xfinity car in that picture is the current aero package, and the cup car is the All Star aero package with the high spoiler. What are the chances they change the 600 aero package if the All Star race goes well?Jamie McMurray’s Xfinity and Kyle Larson’s MENCS patriotic schemes for the Coke 600:

I don't know, I kind of like it.

He's been rocking one all year. Why didn't Chase Elliott get any of this Jeff Gordon heritage treatment his first 2 years?Looks like Byron is rocking a Jeff Gordon tribute scheme at Darlington. Have a about an hour until the reveal.
They still could not get Axalta to agree to have the name spelled out in a blue oval? Lame. Was hoping for a subtle Gordon tribute or even the blue flames scheme. This looks fantastic but feels like a cash grab and too on the nose.
Im glad Chase never got that treatment. As if he had enough pressure being an Elliott and taking over the #24. Let the kid have his own legacy. He's been rocking one all year. Why didn't Chase Elliott get any of this Jeff Gordon heritage treatment his first 2 years?
Also got the real rainbow in the 2004 all star race.We literally just saw this car 3 years ago with Gordon in it. It's another attempt to further manufacture a fan base for Byron and it's getting old. Well, it got old for me a while ago but anyways.
So you don't want Byron to have his own? Or did Chase already absorb all of the pressure to make it easier for Byron to do these thingsIm glad Chase never got that treatment. As if he had enough pressure being an Elliott and taking over the #24. Let the kid have his own legacy.
Oh from the start I was miffed that they simply gave him one of Gordon’s signature schemes rather than a new unique one. Especially with the same color and font 24 with drop shadow. The rainbow scheme makes it that much more frustrating. So you don't want Byron to have his own? Or did Chase already absorb all of the pressure to make it easier for Byron to do these things
Agreed. I'm sure to most it sounds silly to even make a big deal about any of it, and it shouldn't really matter, but for most of the long time fans it just...does. Whether right or wrong.Oh from the start I was miffed that they simply gave him one of Gordon’s signature schemes rather than a new unique one.
