This one looks pretty bad ass in the real also. Boyer- Rush Truck Centers, a multi state Peterbilt dealer

Lol they're so bad about this. Also bad about getting stuff wrong, like selling an incorrect last ride scheme for Gordon over a month before the race lol.

Also, I think this looks pretty decent. I think the yellow numbers would've looked better up against some of that purple though.

I dig it. Its going to look better on track and at night the purple is going to pop nicely. They kept the 48 the tradition Hendrick Yellow and the "Do It Right" is the same. The busy hood should come with an epilepsy warning label though.

Its cool, it will be a grower of a paint scheme. Hopefully JJ can park this car in VL to keep Ally around. It would have been even better if it was just Purple, this car will not be missed on track.

Here’s another look, I think it might grow on me, it fact it might look rad at night. The scheme is...different I’ll say that and doesn’t touch the iconic look of the Lowe’s 48. Ally shot their shot to get away from previous 48 looks and....mission accomplished.

I was going to say the same about the hood. The hendrick yellow throws the whole thing off imo, but I understand why they kept it.

Won't be the best won't be the worst. Might be a grower like you say.

I can't say that I like the hood design, but it is different.

Its different, not sure I like it, not sure I hate it, not sure .

For the life of me I can't understand why a company that's new to the sport would spend the amount of money that's necessary to sponsor a top-tier team like the #48 car and then slap their name on the hood of the car in such a way that it's virtually unreadable.

It was only after I googled "ally" that I found out that it's a financial company whose name is actually Ally Financial Inc. (it was formerly GMAC Inc.)

go figure . . .

Jimmie's car is painted like that

because it's paid for -- and for that reason, it looks MARVELOUS! :D

It looks like the same person that did the Kyle Busch car with the kittens and puppies on it designed it. I can't believe ANY financial institution could be taken seriously with a paint scheme like that.

GM is closing the plant in Oshawa to pay for the sponsorship.

I don't see where GM has any connection to the company formerly known as GMAC. It looks like it has all been spun off and reconstituted multiple times since GM sold a 51% stake in the company in 2006. The new company did an IPO in 2014.
