58th Rolex 24 at DAYTONA

Really odd move...Riberas tried drafting the Lambo and kinda just didn’t notice he was putting until the last second? Normally much better than that, was just named an AMR factory driver this month.

My picks really needed this caution to get caught up
a bit before too much of the night sets in. Crazy stuff happens
in the dark. Just glad it will be a dry night .

More problems for the #25 BMW. Car keeps cutting off. Cut out three times during the caution, going to the garage if it can get back on its own.

Okay, why is Shrub out after 45 minutes of a supposed 3 hour shift?
Most likely figured to take advantage of the yellow to get some of Parker Chase’s drive time in under yellow and while back on the lead lap so they can use Hawksworth and Busch more later on. All they really need from Chase and Quesadilla is to bring the car back in good condition and hit their drive time requirements.

Well called, sir. That's mostly what Kyle said when they talked to him.

#25 BMW returns, multiple laps down. If the bad pit stop early didn't kill them, this electronics issue certainly did.

That was a racing incident.

Catsberg was preparing for the first turn and Lamy turned down a bit. You cannot blame one driver for the crash.

Paul Tracy is darn good -- Rick Allen turned up the unnecessary "three wide" booming call, and Paul just calmly talked thru it with technical precision.

#notagerbil
yeah they aren't gerbiling. Rick Allen knows nothing about racing and he's continuing to phone it in. All Rick can do is yell when something happens.

Gonna nap till 5 after Kobayshi (butchered his name) regains the lead for WTR/Cadillac. Hope their leading when I wake up

The Caddy's have been impressive, but I think the Mazda's are right up there too. Watching the 112 Porsche try to pass the Bimmer, good fight going on in that class.

3:40 am local time. After fighting the off sleepies since midnight, am now wide awake again. Good race. Nice that there will be no monsoons this year. Go Cadillac!

Not even, holy **** man.

Still damn near 20 hours to go and that move is pulled. I'd be pissed if I was Penske.

Castroneves was worked up over it, and rightfully so. Total bonehead move dive bombing in that spot.
