On the positive side at least it sounds like it’s only for 2020, and they aim to strengthen their customer racing program too. This is going to be a rough year though. Not relating to IMSA, but make the bleeding stop please!

Up to 5,000 fans at Daytona, frontstretch grandstands and oval turns 1/2 camping.
Think of it as a method to assist the process in burning off those pesky beer calories.Ugh...I want to, but a mask out in this heat and humidity is a no for me.
I’m tempted to as well. It seems like a lot of other July 4th stuff is getting cancelled or postponed anyways. I’m not used to having reserved seats for a race on the road course but most of the seats in that area are pretty good regardless.Tickets were 30 bucks.
How could I say no...
Unfortunately, another team pulled out of the race. The Heart of Daytona AMR team will not be there, I think it will be a total of 27 entries...Pulled the trigger on four tickets for next weekend. The difference in weather should be interesting for this one.
Yeah, I’m thinking we’ll still get somewhere in the range of 10-12 GTD entries which would put the field between 26-28. Might look small for Daytona but there shouldn’t be any lack of competition. Also, when you lose 4-5 cars for a period of time but still have roughly a dozen showing up I think GTD is in pretty good shape.Unfortunately, another team pulled out of the race. I don't give a ****, its a race to attend.
8 Protos, 6 GTLM, 12 GTD = 26. Beats that field ARCA trotted out at Talladega.
My mistake, it is a night race.Is this a night race?
It is a night race......Broadcasting from 6 to 9pm on NBCSN.
Thank you. I couldn't find where it was televised. My mistake, it is a night race.
Sorry about that. Broadcasting from 6 to 9pm on NBCSN.

Yeah, should come right after the Xfinity race.
Yep, I would say a little over an hour to 1:15 or so depending on traffic and weather. It’s definitely a more pleasant drive than a full ride across I-4 was.You live in Melbourne right?
How long does it take you to travel from there to Daytona?
I still have to go through downtown Orlando.Yep, I would say a little over an hour to 1:15 or so depending on traffic and weather. It’s definitely a more pleasant drive than a full ride across I-4 was.
My jaw dropped listening to the IMS Radio broadcast.@FLRacingFan and @Kiante, I hope y'all set DVRs for that X race!
I brought the umbrella for the downpour I was expecting.Weather was crap on the way but we made it. Ready to see some wet-ish night-ish racing.
I'm not sure what difference is between Caddy and Vette. I'd think they are both LS derivatives. Porsche I think is still a flat 4, or are they V6 now?The Caddilac and the Porsche definitely stand out sound wise.
Holy crap.
Porsche 911 is still a flat-6. The former LMP1 had the V4, the Caddy is based off the 6.2 LS/LT engine. The Corvette is now a flat planed DOHC twin-turbo V8.I'm not sure what difference is between Caddy and Vette. I'd think they are both LS derivatives.
