Cup RACE thread --- The All-Star race

It's not uninformed, its the truth.

There needs to be more consistency across the board and I hope we get there one day, but what was demonstrated tonight was an absolute mess. Writing my checks or not, I appreciate everything in my time in it, but race control has some work to do.

I defend a lot of what is done, but I do not agree with what happened tonight.
I was being sarcastic, Jr’s tweet was spot on.

Its an All Star race, expect the unexpected. This isnt Saturday night at South Boston. These people get paid tons of money and somebody got a little excited before he got the check.
So if Blaney got hurt with an unsecured window net due to a bs caution and the fact nascar tried to over look it by not calling him to pit road, that’s okay because it’s an all star race?

Pretty much.

The caution was unnecessary to begin with.
Yea. My point is definitely the caution being the most bull**** one Ive EVER seen. Even the announcers basically said that and that Blaney winning anyway was the only chance at saving the race at that point

Was it secured or not? Do you know?

Are you that dense? Here ya go.... ITS THE ALL STAR RACE.
So “entertainment” trumps integrity. Great foundation to build your sport back up on. Not that it will matter to you, but your former peers at DBC have been ranting about bad race control calls across all three series since David Hoots moved on.

I'm not sure how you could defend this.
You arent paying attention. NASCAR hadnt called the race official, Blaneys Spotter is in contact with race control at all times, the caution lights came on before the line. I understand you guys have never experienced this, just trying to help you out, take it or leave it.

Theres a shocker!! lol. Everybody in the biz has been pissed at one time or another

Fun fact: Blaney lead the most laps, but this marks his first time doing so and going on to close it out with a win in Cup. Two at that. Remarkable stuff!

Glad Blaney didn't get turned that last green flag.Just a little bit dangerous.

Bottom line, Im glad Blaney won. He deserved it but I hope he learned a lesson tonight. It aint over, till its over.

If NASCAR had gone Red with cars on backstretch, then called Blaney to pitroad, then released cars with Blaney keeping his position, how bad would you be screaming?

I'm guess the same.

How are those arteries looking?

Why did you change your name?
Ah well I got messaged by some members I didn’t recognize or maybe they were new members, about product. I come here to get away from work and hence the name had to be changed. I like this one a lot better, it’s more original.

You have it reversed but yes.
mmm....png

and NASCAR runs the show, they threw the caution, everything else is a moot point because if you are in NASCAR competition you go by their rules. If you make a mistake and get happy and drop the window net before the race is over, or if you go down pit road on the white flag lap and lose the race like Mark Martin did , NASCAR doesnt care.

Fair enough. I don’t agree with tonight’s call at all. But the right car one despite what had been called.
