NFL 2022-23

I’m so in shock Dallas made it look this easy. I was confident they could win but this was dominant. That D is flying all over the place

Whole-ass waste of a season.

My worst Bowles memory is still gonna be the horrible coverages he called in the final minute of the Rams game last year.

Oh dear. Fat Mike McCarthy isn’t going to choke this away is he

This game reminded me a lot of Brady's last game in New England. The Patriots looked bad in that loss to the Titans and everyone thought that was the end.

Brady needs to let go, but I doubt that happens.
Why? Just because he's 45? He's better than more than half of quarterbacks in the NFL. He just put up MVP caliber seasons at 43 and 44. The Bucs have the worst running game in the NFL and a very weak Oline. Not many quarterbacks are going to succeed with those two factors, regarding if they are 45 or 22.

Rather see the man enjoy doing other things. Maybe be a broadcaster or maybe a coach or something.

Losing Ali Marpet at the beginning of the year was huge, Jensen's first game all season was tonight and he did well. Honestly, the running game was never really given a good shot. This team had a tendency to get away from the run game because of getting behind in games which in turn kept Brady having to throw more attempts than any other QB in the NFL. White and Fournette are a good combo, just I'll continue to say that Leftwich is not a great OC. Bowles was not meant to lead this team because he never really moved me in his time with the Jets. Tristian Wirfs in a top-tier (All-Pro) RT as well and he fought injuries all season... The o-line struggled with injuries a lot than in the past few years. Donovan Smith was about as consistent as he could be on the LT spot and Shaq Mason moving from the Pats to the Bucs was a lukewarm move.

A lot of questions to be answered because I know for certain Tom is done here. Just things did not click from the start this season and the inconsistency lasted a full-season.

Brady threw 66 passes lol what a game plan tonight
Godawful rushing offense getting in a hole early does that.

I actually can’t fathom how such a bad running game can occur in the modern NFL, it’s legitimately the worst the league has seen in at least twenty years.

Gotta say though, Brady came here to do one thing and one thing only and he got it done in year 1. You can’t forget that, especially with the Bucs historically being a poverty franchise. This season and the way last season ended were disappointing but overall it was mission accomplished. They even erected temporary stands in one end zone that are almost certainly getting taken back down now. It was worth it.

I’d say he didn’t give up his marriage to retire after this year. He’s playing for the next 1-2 years at least. The question is where....Vegas? San Fran? Miami? New England? I think the only thing for sure is he’s done with Tampa

The Cowboys had a great game and they have the talent to go all the way.
But I am still concerned about how well they can play or more specifically how well they can avoid mistakes under pressure. I think the win was more about Tampa just not being that good this year.

It did give the Cowboys an opportunity to have a highly needed great game and build some confidence or momentum. Prescott especially needed that kind of game as a reset to get back on track considering all of the recent interceptions.

I will be rooting for them like I have all my life. But I am not kidding myself the 49ers may be the current best team in the NFL and they clearly have played better than the Cowboys this year. It would be a huge upset to beat them.

Dallas has to be more disciplined than than they have all year and avoid turning over the ball. They also need a great running game from Elliott and Pollard to take some pressure off of Prescott. I do not think the Cowboys have utilized those two as much as they should have in the last few years and they have wasted a great opportunity.

The duo may not be as strong as Christian McCaffrey and (WR) Deebo Samuel. I love watching those two play and their versatility to make big plays out of almost nothing from the line of scrimmage. It has to be a nightmare for opposing teams to defend. The only way I see Dallas winning is for Elliott and Pollard to create the same kind of opportunities and taking some pressure off of Prescott. I think a lot of great things could happen for them (passing game) in that scenario.

Much respect for Brady the GOAT who is one of a kind and the Babe Ruth of this generation. Not sure of what comes next, it is insane to believe it is still possibile and still the conversation. It is not just the physical attributes it is also incredibile to still have the passion at his age and especially after he has accomplished so much already. It is incredible there are not enough superlatives.

I think Raiders are the leader in the clubhouse for Brady because of McDaniels
The familiarity between the two makes a lot of sense but I don’t trust McDaniels as a HC, missed the playoffs after a 6-0 start with one team and now set a record for blown halftime leads with another…I think that’s a big risk putting your faith in him for one final season.

I think Dallas has a shot because of two reasons against the 49ers for 2 reasons
1.) The Cowboys defense has been great all year, and looked not only great last night but healthy too. Their speed on defense is special. I think they are fast enough to contain McCaffrey and physical enough to pound back against Deebo. I also think Purdy comes back to earth some point and the Dallas D is good enough to make that happen. They have to get a pass rush going like they did last night and do it early.
2.) I’m concerned about the O Line of Dallas as Left Tackle makes me nervous but they have to establish the running game. Get what ever you can of what’s left of Zeke this playoff run and honestly Pollard’s been the better back all year. Faster, hits the corner better and just overall looks more spry. You have to use them and use them both a lot. Keep the ball away from the 49ers monster of Deebo/McCaffrey. I don’t think they can get into a shootout with the 49ers, ball possession will be key for this one.

This is my favorite rivalry in the NFL: 49ers vs Cowboys. It’s the best on sports, so many legends have went at it wearing these uniforms. This is the game I wanted since last year and I pray Dallas can return the receipt from last year’s season ender

"WE DEM BOYZ" too focused on "Haters" to enjoy the win.

Man, I actually like Dak Prescott and I know what it's like for fans to suffer as long as they have, but it's no wonder most football fans hate the Cowboys. An awful owner and a fanbase where even the most diehard loyalists act like obnoxious ass bandwagoners.

I think Pollard is better too I would try to keep him over Elliott.

I don’t think Jerry is a bad owner at all. You could say He’s way too involved and made bad player acquisitions, ran off the best coach he’s had as an owner (they could have ruled the 90’s with Jimmy. At least 2-3 more Super Bowls with him as coach) but he also has helped build the latest incarnation of this team as well as setting the team up for the future with the building of Jerry World. He’s also done some good things for the NFL like most recently helping get a team back to LA. 99% of what Jerry does is in the name of winning, this team has been a contender for the better part of 8 seasons now. That’s all you can ask for as a fan , give the team a shot each season and see how it plays out. I never think or thought Jerry was just there to cash checks, sure some of the personnel acquisitions in the past have been inept but you can’t accuse of him not trying. I can’t say that about every owner in the NFL. Look no further than my hometown Chicago Bears...both stupid and cheap.

I agree but Brady loves McDaniels and the two are like brothers. Couple that with Adam's, Jacob's, and a lack of other suitors and I think it's where he likely ends up

I didn't like the way Jones handled Landry which was the lowest, and for not leaving the team to Jimmy Johnson to run. I believe they would have more Super Bowls if he had left him alone and the one that a dumbass like Switzer got was inherited or built off of Johnson's leftovers.

But Jones tried and made peace with Landry and they bought him back to honor and give him the recognition he deserved. I don't think getting rid of an older Landry was a bad decesion it was just the way it was carried out. Landry was a legend and he deserved a more respectful exit.

I think Jones biggest problem or the thing that most hate overall is the overall the top ego and enthusiasm but that isn't an altogether awful thing. His ambition and love for the Cowboys and their legacy is something I relate too.

I don't worry about the haters it would be foolish and who cares. It is all subjective people have their favorites and the teams they don't like or hate. It is hard to be passionate and not be bent that way.

All of my favorite football memories growing up was with watching Roger Staubach as the quarterback and right or wrong I almost never change teams.

Gonna be a tough offseason. Lots of reports that they’re already set to fire Leftwich, I guess Bowles will get one more shot with his own OC choice.

Chargers have already moved on from Lombardi, I guess they’ll let Staley bring in a new one and run it back next season.

Chargers defense under defensive mastermind Brandon Staley gave up 30 points in 31 minutes and they fire the OC. 🤡
