This is in no way intended on taking away from any of the games that will be run here or anywhere else. I know I'll be playing the weekly game here as well once it starts. I was just out on the Yahoo Fantasy website creating a private group for my local friends and decided I'd create a group @ Yahoo Fantasy Auto Racing for here as well. It is called racing-forums.com and is open for anyone that would like to participate. The only problem is that I too will be participating in this so it looks like anyone else that joins will be only paying for second place. :D I just wanted to let you know up front before you get your hopes up.

The C list looks really week this year. Maybe 2 or 3 that aren't start and parks.

These pages are far too complicated to get into anyway.More passwords and crap than my bank account.It's just a chat site for pete's sake .Absolutely no need for security .I tried to change my e mail address at a couple of sites that I watch , but couldn't get in to change it so I don't bother with them anymore.

make sure you are up to date on windows. same with web browser(s), flash and java. clear your browsers cache and try again.

Let us know if SlowNeasy's advice worked or not. I can try to email a mod over @ Yahoo's site for advice should it not work out for you. I don't want to see anyone get shut out of the game that would like to play.
 
Great turnout this year. We are currently @ 20 players. I don't know what the limits are as to the group size so join while you still can. Don't wait! The more people that we have join the more bragging rights you have should you win a week or any section of the season or even at my expense the entire season.

Also, I don't know how many first time players that there are to Yahoo Fantasy Auto Racing that have joined this year. The rules are all available here and their help page is available here. If you are like me and hate reading all of that crap fell free to IM me or post any questions in this thread. I don't want to see anyone not start off on equal footing.
 
I'm somewhat concerned with the group C choices as well. Other than part time and S&P teams really no good choices.

Had a rough time last year finishing in the upper 50% so that is why I named my team Basement Dwellers. Stewart Fan and others...you can change drivers every week, but you can only use a driver for 9 races total. Also, you will be notified if you pick a driver that is not in the race...at least most of the time. You'll get the hang of it once the season begins. Gotta warn you though, watch out for those Rainbow Warriors. She's a tough cookie to beat.

Elliott Sadler has an RCR ride for the Daytona 500 , I would add him to my list if I could write him in.

I'd bet he'll be added once the entry list is completed for the 500. While they never move their drivers between the A,B & C groups the groups can be added to @ any point during the season with new drivers. And that, more often than not, is normally the C group.

Thanks for the props Buck, but I think last year was the first time I wasn't season champ in a few years. I only placed second. :( I guess my beginners luck has worn off! At least I won a section or two. LOL:D

I think what really messed me up was so many unexpected winners! That and having used up my good guys so that I couldn't use my usual suspects during the Chase.
