I've said this before, but I can't believe he just went MIA like that this year. I thought he would surely be a threat for the title before the Chase started. Very disappointing.

No there isn't much of a difference.
Jimmie puts 3-4 seconds on the second place car nearly every time he takes the lead.
I thought Junior inherited Gordon's team?

He's leading by 1.7 seconds. By this time in a run in the Truck race, Ty was seven seconds ahead and counting.
Ty's a wheelman for sure but he had a rocket.
