I've said this before, but I can't believe he just went MIA like that this year. I thought he would surely be a threat for the title before the Chase started. Very disappointing.

No there isn't much of a difference.
Jimmie puts 3-4 seconds on the second place car nearly every time he takes the lead.
I thought Junior inherited Gordon's team?

He's leading by 1.7 seconds. By this time in a run in the Truck race, Ty was seven seconds ahead and counting.
Ty's a wheelman for sure but he had a rocket.

I don't like Jimmie Johnson but I'm not gonna let my dislike for him blind me from reality. Jimmie is the best driver out there right now and may well go down in history as one of the best drivers ever.
