Yeah, last 2 bad finishes were the result of mechanical issues. I'm sure they'll be going over that car over and over leading up to the race.

Yeah, people who said Childress was going to fire Harvick over Martinsville were being silly.

Bad in my opinion, tire degradation should demand 4 new stickers on every pit stop.

Well, my take is that a softer tire would be faster. Just like the repaves and all the aero widgets, the car in front would be faster and harder to pass and probably would mean more single file races that stock car fans don't like.

Natural falloff would make strategy much more interesting though and it would also put tire management back into the drivers' hands.

A 2 tire change should be a risk, A big risk. So I agree with you.

It would have to be the right amount of softness. Too soft and you'd get a situation where tires are going flat while the cars are going 180mph to 200mph.

The race came out great for the ABT brotherhood, been a little bit better if JJ had finished second. Just great that the pukes at Fox puke 1 don't think Nascar is more important than cage fighting, so no after show with only one race left.
