A random question clutch. Do your schools run opposite of ours? Are they in session during your winter and out during your summer? I guess I could look it up but I'm feeling lazy this morning. :D

Yes.
They have a big break over Christmas....(summer) so our school year is actually a year instead of 75/76 its just 75.
Know what I mean?

Did you get that sauce from the Anchor Bar Bobby?

I got the Frank's, Sriracha and chilies from the local market. Chilies got processed and added to the Frank's/Sriracha blend. Bob's Big Boy Roquefort for dipping.
I thought you ordered some from the anchor bar, home of the original Buffalo hot wings.

We ate at one just south of Cleveland last summer and it was pretty good. I always thought it was just hamburgers, so it was a nice surprise.

My dad had a gas station at Riverside Drive and Cahuenga Blvd. when I was a kid. Bob's Big Boy was just down the street. Back then, the girls still skated out to the cars. Flamed hot rods filled the parking lot on Friday nights. Even back then, I knew I was a gearhead. I was 5 when my dad got that station. They kicked me out of elementary school and I spent a good deal of time at my dad's shop. We went to Bob's Big Boy a lot. My dad had some sweet cars back then. Friday night is still hot rod night at Bob's Big Boy.

One of my sister-in-laws worked at a Bob's Big Boy in high school and shortly after she graduated in 1975. She and my two youngest sisters were best friends and they used to take me along to eat there a lot when I was pretty little. I just remember they had great big juicy burgers and good fries and the best hot fudge sundaes on the planet. I'd never even heard of hot fudge sundaes until we started going there. Renee (the now sister-in-law of over 25 years) used to sneak and just load mine up with peanuts because she knew I loved 'em.

It's the stuff like that that probably seemed so simple and unimportant to them at the time that made such an impression on you when you were a kid.

Glad you got it in. Like I told ya, I love that stuff. I hope you like it. Enjoy.

My friend Tami text me today about a burger she was going to get after work. When she got there the grill had already shut down so she got a chicken taco instead. Because she's my friend, I text her a picture of the burger that I cooked when I got home. I get no respect.
Some people are naturally grumpy...

She's clearly out of her mind Bobby. Everybody likes Tater Tots :D

...but maybe you could have invited her over.

I've cooked Baby Backs on the grill the last two nights and forgotten to capture the results with a pic!
Ribs, baked potato and coleslaw makes me go Yum!

For some reason they've been on sale at the local market. I ate a rack over the weekend and I still have an uncooked rack in the ice box.
Good stuff!
