Whats new there pat ?

Hello KyleFan.
Not much of anything going on here. It's been gloom and doom all day after a T-storm last night. I've not done a thing all day. I've just checked out the shed and setting up the garage to give the feral cats some options when it gets really cold next few days.

Thats mighty nice of you to think about the poor homeless critters, you certainly make their lives a bit easier. We have a few cats running around our place but the 2 pit bulls keep them off our property

I'm a sucker for a cat. They all are so pretty.

LOL........ I would have thought different being you have to work on equipment.

Winters here are very mild, right now we have 55 to 65 degree days which are great to work outside in. Our summers suck 110 to 125 degrees

Sure its dry but if you lay a wrench down in the sun you have to pick it up with a pair of pliers and run some cold water over it before you touch it :(
My digital multi-meter melted one day while I was using it

I helped a friend kick over a fresh panhead engine one night....................................... my leg will never be the same !!!! 130 pound people should leave them things alone
Nope them kickers will put you into to orbit!!!! Hell with a good kick back will put a 200 pounder in to orbit.....

This guy had just built the engine, it was pretty cold in his shop and he had used a lot of very thick assembly lube, we couldnt get it to turn fast enough to fire so I went next door to the body shop and borrowed on of them infrared paint driers ................... an hour later it was running but we both limped around for a week.

Several years back it was 125 - 126 one day and no planes took off from the airport for about 2 hours, their temperature charts didnt go that high. I was welding diamond plate on a truck deck that day for about 12 hours, funny thing is that it didnt feel that bad to me for some reason. I recall 110 degree days feeling worse.
