I've given up trying to understand F1 officiating.

I thought it was interesting that Jr and Kevin had said things that offended each other and they didn't know they offended each other. I was also surprised that they socialized early in their careers.

Has Jr interviewed Matt Kenseth? Those two had a friendly rivalry in the Busch series and I think they were friends. Both congratulated each other in victory lane at their first wins. Jr was the first to win a race during their first year in Cup but Matt won Rookie of the Year over Jr.

My favorite qualifying is the Twin 125s and the All Star race when they included a pit stop. I'm interested to see how the four formats work. The last new format (parking at the end of pit road) was a disaster.

I've seen the F1 points leader wreck their competition to prevent them from gaining points in the past.

I'm happy for Kyle Larson and his team. I think they were the best team this season.

This is the one race where the field gets out of the way of the 4. The 4 are points racing between themselves - they only have to be in front of the other 3. I'd like to see some of the other drivers try and win the race.

I think the field does move out of the way during the last race of the season.

If they aren't lifting they aren't racing. Holding the gas pedal to the floor is not a skill.

I'm surprised that some of the top teams haven't adapted to lack of testing while some of the smaller teams have become more competitive. I do miss qualifying (pit stall #1 is an advantage).
