    20 years ago today

I joined this forum. Me and a dozen or so others. Time flies, I guess. Anyhow, being less long winded than I used to be, I just wanted to tip my hat to any of us that are still around.

    Be9...15 years ago today, man!

15 years anniversary here, for me and what used to be a large group of us 14ers...damn, I have never been a part of anything that lasted that long, lol. It's been a blast, glad the old RF is still kicking, and glad to still come around from time to time.:punkrocke

    Was this you, Whizzer??

An elderly man in North Carolina had owned a large farm for several years. He had a large pond in the back. It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees. One evening the old farmer(who we will call 'Whizzer')...

    Lead poisoning?

Anyone here have any experience with this? My grandson, who is four and lives with me, just had a doctor's result of elevated lead in his blood. Not real high, but enough to raise pretty big concerns. The internet seems to suggest old houses or house paint could cause this....that's possible...

    Who is skipping the chase?

I mean who isn't going to watch it, due to the 'corrupt last race' and all.... Seriously, if the current line-up stands, Bowyer-spin-gate and all, which of you will be missing from here? From the discussions, arguments, debates etc due to your sheer moral outrage over this earth shattering show...

    Damn angst

Can't shake it off, weird. Kind of a reckless yearning, what the hell. Anyone else ever get these feelings just out of the blue? If so, how do you deal with them? Maybe its just this time of year, hard to say.

Anyone here know anything about North Dakota?

I know you can read or research about anywhere online. I've been reading about ND for a month now, but was curious if anyone here is actually familiar with that state? I'm about to go mobile, and ND seems about as good a place as any, lol Any input will be appreciated.

The Original 97 might just race forever...

Pretty cool article about Red Farmer linked below. I have met Red a dozen or more times, and remember him from the old BIR track when I was just a kid and a relative of mine actually managed the track at the time. Keep in mind as you read the article the old guy is 80 freaking years old...

    Has anyone here tried Mturk?

Its associated with Amazon and is one of those online money making type of things for anyone not familiar. I recently read about it, and it is actually pretty cool if you find yourself with a lot of time on your hands. I've made 61 bucks in three days, lol. The little jobs--or 'hit's' in...

    Five days without smoking!

Reagan was in office last time I made it this long without a cigarette. And even despite a few women in real life (and SST on hereB)) trying to make me crack, I am still holding tough without snapping or going nuts. Actually, I hadn't even aimed to quit--I just ran out and didn't buy another...

    Total Recall

What? Just saw this on my FB movie pilot feed....I had no idea they had remade it. Damn, seems like its only been a few years since the original. I loved the original and hope this one is half as good.

    This is pretty mind-blowing

Check this out, maybe it's just me, but it is one of the coolest things I've seen since I accidentally stumbled onto a blondes only lesbian-rights meeting on a nudist beach back in the 80's.(true story) Seriously, it's cool...and all done in PENCIL, man...

    The blonde and the tourist

So an american tourist in europe meets a pretty blonde in a hotal lobby, takes her to his room, and they get intimate. After a long romp in the sack, the american is satisfied and looks over at the blonde and says : "Well, you finish?" She shakes her head no, so the american gives her a...

    June, 14th, 2002

Damn...a day late, even though I was on last night. Double damn, the new format doesn't include the exact day of joining this board, just the month. But for a lot of us on here, trust me, it was the 14th day of June in the year of our Lord 2002. Just nine months after 9/11,,,that seems...

    NASCAR 2020: diversified and simplified

This is where I see the sport heading. And yes, mainly due to Nascar's pathetic attempts at practicing tokenism in the name of 'diversity'. All for yet more profit at the expense of the traditional fan base. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX From wire reports 16 feb...
