Was never a Larson fan. Have to give him full marks. No doubt in my mind he could have won that race. Showed real class. Not like in the Busch race. Showed you can race and respect what's on the line during the last race. Back in the day, drivers understood that.

Yes , I agree. Then they take it too far.... it's used to hide the lazy and work 4 or 5 hours if your company is lucky instead of 8 hours. That's why everything is China. I would gladly pay a proper wage, but you should work for your wage as well.

It's not so much the stage racing, the cars suck the track way too much. Maybe the real problem is that there are to many things you can't do to the car. I mean, maybe if you let the teams do what they want under the car. Then again it could be worse. Maybe a larger variety of parts they can...

His first year he had all of Bill Elliott's notes. Elliott would have won more. Always said he got out one year to early ....

When Bill drove, I never missed a race, even in the Wal-Mart car when he had zero chance. All of those rough McDonald's years, I watched, never missed one. He retired, I always caught the last 50 or so laps from then on. When Chase came along, I only watched the Busch Series. Now he's in Cup...
