My screen name has always been Kymartin6....... always has been .... always will be..... I see no need to change just because he's retired......
Fun graph. Look at Terry's 5's... they look cool, all slant towards front for almost the first half and then slant to the back the last half... splitting hairs here, give me a break haha. Cool stuffHa I was just going to post this

Do you buy merch based on the number on the car? Youre gonna have a bad time if so.
Glad youre not a Kurt fan

At least y'all aren't like the jr fans who had #8 tattoos and had to add another 8 when he went to the 88

Brad Keselowski drove a 25 car in 2008 and 2009, and Chase Elliott drove a 25 in 2015.
As I pointed out, do it right and put ALL the cars and drivers on it. Might be educational for some people. Also curious where you found that picture of Rick with Geoff and Tim you are using. I have the similar "Front Row Gang 86" poster in my collection, but would like the photo for my screen saver.
Didn't MM have a hell of a career ending year in that car??I am glad Chase is back in the #9 , this is as it should be.
As far as the #5, that number has a jinx on it for some reason after Texas Terry left. JMHO.

You mean Bush in a COT car and then praised it in victory lane like he did a guitar? Some nobody named Busch won a few races in that car too.
Ha ha he said it sucked. I'll never forget that, he said what everyone was thinkingYou mean Bush in a COT car and then praised it in victory lane like he did a guitar?
The #24 car should have been re-branded the #9 car when Chase Elliott came to Cup if this was a possibility the whole time.
With William Byron getting a shot in the #24, I'm convinced Hendrick wanted Elliott to ride off of Gordon's popularity, and now wants Byron to do the same.

Yeah I always thought they wanted back with the 24 and Chase was the perfect driver to do it with, but NAPA was definitely not stepping aside to make room for them.I think Axalta wanted to cover the #24, and Napa cares more about Chase than the number he runs.
Who said he was trying to live up to his Dad. Wouldn't any son want to do that ????"Chasing History" with Claire B......now the 9. Whatcha say we leave the kid the hell alone and become the driver that we all know he will be? Always get a little nervous when we talk about these kinds of things before performance and wins justifies the attention. He was the second coming of the 24, and now he is trying to live up to his Dad? Dunno Mr. H.
Pockrass said something along the lines of "Nationwide has invested in the #88".This is so freakin stupid. They made such a big deal about Chase taking over the legacy of the 24....and now they switch him to the 9? Ridiculous. Should've given him the 9 to begin with.
And Bowman has the 88....why? That number was made for Jr. They should have gone back to the 25.
I hate this all around. Now the original HMS 5 and 25 numbers are no longer used by HMS. Dumb dumb dumb.

Not so sure. What about being your own man?
