Unfortunately that's the nature of the beast at an RP track. It's not Kenseth and Logano's fault that some small money teams have to pack it up now.
Everyone knows when cars are on the track in a big wod, a big wreck is very likely.
It's like some of you guys need to have a sacrificial lamb to be held accountable whenever anything happens.
The Adam Alexander/Kyle Petty/Jeff Hammond trio on FS1 right now is the best trio they've had all of Speedweeks.
LendingSeems fitting that Parker would have landing on his car, he's already taken flight this week.
It wasnt too bad till I heard Kyle Pettys voice....... then I knew he was there and that sucks
hope we've heard last of kenny's terrible "pearls of wisdom " for today.
he makes ya miss dw !
All accidents are caused by something, The cause of the practice crash looked real obvious too me and apparently to others as well. When I raced I NEVER rode that way in practice, I wanted to live to race later in the day. Just my opinion of course YMMV
Said this last week all you need to watch is the last 30 laps. After watching the duals tonight I'm pretty sure this is how the 500 will go:
Everyone gets in a giant train for the first 495 miles, then the last couple a laps a few people will try to dive down low only see that no one followed them and they'll finish 30+
Then after the race the driver in 15th place will say he tried his hardest to make a move when in reality he just sat on the high line the whole race and didn't bother to help anyone who dare try to form a line on the bottom.
Not for this guy. Start to finish for me.Said this last week all you need to watch is the last 30 laps.
I disagree. We'll see more attempts at making the lines work. If you get a fast car on the low lane pushing another, the momentum should be enough to pass the ones on the high lane. Course, if the leader is Hamiln or Kenseth, they'll block all race. The first duel was fun and the second duel, some drivers in the back were stuipd early on and then once everyone realized they were locked in, why bother risk passing and crashing?
The package is set up where the momentum from the side drafting will have a great effect if you can get a good second line going.
Ditto.. damn I watch every lap of practice lol let alone the actual 500Not for this guy. Start to finish for me.
I have watched everything twice. That's why i have gotten up at 3:30 am two days in a row just to watch everything from the day before, over again. I don't need my beauty sleep...that ship has sailed a long time ago.Ditto.. damn I watch every lap of practice lol let alone the actual 500
cuz if you blow a tire, ya ain't got far to go to hit the wallso why not just run around the bottom instead of the top?
That was me this morning. Up @ 4am to watch last night's races. Didn't have the chance to watch them live but I did watch them live on DVR, just eight hours later.I have watched everything twice. True.. but it oens the bottom line for anyone who can get some cars together... but I guess the same could happen on the top.cuz if you blow a tire, ya ain't got far to go to hit the wall
Lost in the final 1:30 by 5. Great season none the less. Time to move on. Track starts Monday! How did your daughters basketball game go?
Yeah, he was out there, but unless you were pointing at the rear of the field you wouldn't have seen him.Did Morgan Shepherd start his duel race? I can't remember seeing his car at any point this week.
