2014 Daytona - Coke Zero 400 - Pre Race Thread

Can't wait for some Sprint cup racing from Daytona! Not that any of you care, but I'll be staying off this board throughout the entire race the way all you "fans" don't bring me down with your negativity. Lets get this show on the road!!

good deal, we wouldn't want to damage your virgin ears.

Just talked to my friend at the track --- she said they made an announcement about the weather and they advised everyone to get under cover. She's hanging out in the bathroom
right now --- lightning in the area. Said the track dryers were out, but have quit.
:(

Something needs to be done about east coast weather. Maybe we can get the government to concentrate some chemtrails over in that region.....

this made me think back about the rumor, Bruton was gonna enclose Bristol.

I hope she's OK. The stink in the restrooms is more hazardous than the weather.

Hopefully not many people have to work tomorrow morning, because it's going to be a late night!

I do not like rain, snow, sleet, humidity, hurricanes, mosquitos, July flies, sweaters, jackets, mittens, earmuffs, salt, rust...

I like fresh air, real trees and grass, four seasons, a lake that doesn't smell like salt water, no neighbors except deer, rabbits, birds and squirrels, and to go places where I can understand what they are saying. Glad you like where you live, but believe me, you are not converting me with the constant Cali wank. been there done that. :)

We have all of the things that you just mentioned. All within driving distance. ;)

Cali has one thing I don't think I could ever get used to --- random violent shaking of the ground. LOL

Plus the fact that it's expensive to live out there and this old lady's retirement wouldn't go very far.

Every 20 years we get a shaker. They're not bad. More myth than anything else....

May end up starting at about 10 tonight just like it did in 2005, my dad and I sat in a down pour for the July race in Daytona waiting for the race to start. It finally finished at like 2am lol

Speaking of driving distance, the average gas price in California is 90 cents higher per gallon than what I pay here in Northwest Arkansas. IF there was a chance that I could afford rent in California, I'd be stuck at home all the time because I wouldn't be able to afford gas prices.

Ain't no such place as cali. California is a great state with more to do than just dream about it.
