In this case, it wouldn't matter. NASCAR is still going to divide time by distance. The problem is the distance between the two scoring lines isn't the same from the inside wall to the outside.

It's 2017, there is a way to electronically track the speed of the cars. As FOX just showed, you can literally be busted for speeding for being in the wrong lane of a scoring loop.

I agree. My point was only that speedometers in the car wouldn't help the pit road speeding issue.

Richmond races are good for yard work. Too bad it's cold and rainy outside.
 
Other than Kenseth dominating this is one of the best Richmond races in the past 10 years so far.

Jeff might want to try asking some questions on those interviews instead of giving the driver a recap of the entire race.
