The best part of being a Manufacture based fan......i get to cheer for 1/3 of the field today I have 13 bullets not just one!!!!! More excitement for me I'm sure other manufacture based fans can relate.

Tough call as far as who BF gives the best plate to today. I figure it's either Junior or Chase.
Lotsa stuff can happen though. If Junior gets the "hotplate" he may get bored and miss his pit stall...if Chase gets the "hotplate" he may hit the wall.

That Gridwalk was awkward at the end. Mikey talking to some Monster girls while the camera was zoomed in on 2 little kids.
For me, the entire Gridwalk is awkward --- every week.

When it comes to Dega it's just as much about the party as the racing.Combined there is nothing more fun to see and attend in person IMO.

1) I think this forum is pretty well split on the topic.
2) There may not be much overlap between forum participants and plate race attendees. As Mr. E. noted, some are there for the party more than the race.

I am so-so on the plate racing factor as a racer, but from a spectator standpoint it seems like a compelling race to attend for a casual, and the atmosphere at Talladega is probably better than any other track.
It's mesmerizing in person.
