2018 - Daytona 500 - Pre Race Thread

Man Darrell needs to retire. His hands are all shaky and stuff.

Did Mike Joy say Bill Elliot was the last two time winner in the 500? Sterling Marlin won it in 94 and 95. And Dale Jarrett won it twice also.
and Dale Jr
Johnson, Kenseth, and Gordon, the man next to him. Joy is slipping
Michael Waltrip, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Jr as well.

SMH.
Listening is hard. What Mike said was about Johnson being the only driver in the field with more then 1 500 win. The last time there was only 1 driver with multiple 500s was with Bill Elliott in 1993. He didn't say no one had won multiple in that time frame.

I think everyone was too quick to jump Mike on this one.

Mike Joy and DW look like they’ve aged 20 years since last season’s portion of Fox. Wow, sinking in that soon there will be new announcers in that Fox booth. Jeff still looking youthful

"Lap one, who will lead it?"

Would've been nice if we could see, but alas, they have this ****** big ass sidebar obstructing the view.

Based on the Shootout, the 2018 D500 is going to set two records for this race: most lead changes and most cautions.

That was one BORING Clash. At least the attendance was about triple of the ARCA race.:p Not an empty seat.

Listening isn't hard at all. I simply misunderstood his point. That's why I ask the question.
