I'm really bummed JS7 had the lackluster exit from the sport but I'm super excited about Malcom's rejuvenation. Here is to Kenny Roczen staying healthy all season.

Webb fought his way back to 6th after the first corner wipeout, and is 25 seconds ahead of his teammate.

That was a pretty good race. We got there around 9.30 am and didn't leave until 10.30 pm. It rained pretty good but I stayed dry all day. Tomac was hauling ass.:D

Musquin is hurt and far shy of 100%, and is probably not the kind of rider who thrives in the mud. His performance makes sense. Anderson's struggles were more of a mystery, but there were rumors he has been hurt too, and also issues like goggles fogging up played a big role last night. Something was off with him in his heat too though, he was getting passed and fading in both races. The biggest question mark heading into Week 2 is whether he bounces back to being in contention or not.

He was saying that Ando might be injured. There are rumors they are trying to hide an injury. Last night looked like more issues with his gear than anything else though..

Musquin hurt his knee training in November I believe, and is still getting back to full strength.

Honestly I think Anderson is both much better than he showed last night, but by no means one of the fastest riders in the field. I see him as about a 4th to 7th place rider on speed alone with this group. However, he's shown more endurance and consistency than most everyone else, so we'll see how it plays out over a season.

Glendale is usually one of the best and raciest SX tracks, because it's a big football stadium with a lot of floor space to work with.

There looked to be something mechanically wrong with the bike, but Tomac often seems to have strange bike issues and makes them worse through painfully slow reactions and indecision. It is wild to have both of the Kawi bikes heading to the LCQ. Hopefully Savagty is ok.

Roczen was also very slow in that race, finishing 8th. Reed looking like he still has the fire.

Anderson was pretty slow again too. This 450 class is quite unpredictable compared to recent years.

Ralph called Ricky "Jeff", lol. It could get better, but there is not much chemistry between these two.

He also called the 250 lcq a lap early haha. I still love Ralph Shaheen though. Just a race fan through and through.

AC looking more like he should. He's by far the most experienced, fastest rider in 250W. Looked great tonight and got the dub by about 11 seconds.

Yeah, I don't see anyone in that group that actually can hang with Cianciarulo without him making errors. I'm already looking forward to the combined East / West 250 races, because as stacked as the 450 class suddenly seems, this 250W class is thin.

Looked very similar to Kenny in Anaheim a couple years ago. I hope he was just knocked out but that was a sudden ******* stop.

Love to root for this kid. Hope he's alright.

The weight of the bike falling on his leg and kicking it up like that didn't look good, but when someone takes that hard of a spill, a broken leg bone is better than worse injuries that can occur. He raised his arm right away and I hope that's a good sign all things considered.

Ugh, really sucks, it was fun having him in the mix. He is really quick.

First year he's had a full ride. A major injury is not what he needed.

Anderson was awfully nice with Roczen, he knows he's faster. Quite a recovery from his poor performance last week. Wow.

Anderson was about as contrite as can be that he doesn't want to race like that, credit to him for that. He used to pull a lot of similar moves unapologetically, so that's interesting.

Ando has nothing to be ashamed of. He raced him clean two laps in a row in that same corner and when he was finally inside Roczen, Kenny turned in to try and get a good run off. More Ken's fault than Jason's tbh.

Great race though. Would have loved to see Kenny try and maintain the lead without the red flag. So many of these guys endurance is still somewhat unknown after a long, injury-riddled off-season.

This sh!t is like NASCAR now. I went from rooting from one rider forever(McGrath and then JS7), to pulling for basically everyone.

Sigh. I felt it was something like that the way his leg landed (and got landed on).

Anderson's move wasn't egregious, but I think most of these top guys don't want to start dive bombing each other, and that was somewhere in between but a bit early in the race for a move that aggressive. He did pull up very generously at least once before that. I liked his willingness to take ownership of it, and I'm not really a fan.
