Based on my calculations, they've received about 2 1/4 inches of rain this weekend.
I agree that the windshields should go if they're going to take dirt racing seriously, but they did it for seven years at Eldora, didn't they? That was a very dry track prep in the middle of the summer, so yeah, not going to work when the track is greasy.
Takes my back to my youth! I use to love TNN's "American Sports Cavalcade" on TNN either Saturday or Sunday morning when they would have Swamp Buggy races from Naples! Sadly, these are probably the best forms of transportation for much of Tennessee right now....
Dry it out first.LOL LOL LOL Jeff and Clint hit it out of the ball bark already. I love those guys together they are so damn funny. Clint better get busy putting that dirt back.
I'm pretty convinced God actually hates nascar. It's kind of hard to ignore at this point.NASCAR has some terrible luck. Insane amount of rain and the most anticipated race in years will end up being one of the lowest rated races in years because it's gonna be run on a Monday afternoon.
God stopped watching NASCAR when Dale died, the show came to him.I'm pretty convinced God actually hates nascar. It's kind of hard to ignore at this point.
Those things are bad-ass.I'd watch that btw. These too..

Honestly, probably. It’s not a normal dirt track so the concrete surface below the dirt should allow for a faster drying process.Seriously, can the track be ready for either race be run tomorrow?
That was my thought.Bristol Boat Race. I'm desperate.
The sun will come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinking about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
God is ok with NASCAR, it's his female companion Mother Nature that wants to keep him home.I'm pretty convinced God actually hates nascar. It's kind of hard to ignore at this point.
I knew Larry was a croonerLarry is Amanda Gorman in overalls and a big sombrero.
Agreed, probably one of the best drainage systems in the country for a dirt track...if there is any dirt left on the high banks.Honestly, probably. It’s not a normal dirt track so the concrete surface below the dirt should allow for a faster drying process.
Should.
I usually do karaoke, but some of the classics I can do from memory.I knew Larry was a crooner
