Spire team just did the wheel wobble check too. Not very scientific.
I WAS FIRST!!!First few pit stops I watched seems like teams have a concern of getting wheels tight. 3 car only did right sides, then brought what looked like a torque wrench over to check them. The 24 changed tires then came back around and jacked the car up to check the wheels.
Have to imagine you have to let the wrench hammer a little longer
I WAS FIRST!!!
And yet here you are.Networks? I could use an iphone and a tri pod and be better than that dude or dudette
He's really not much good to us, is he?And yet here you are.
Charlie, I'm kidding, dont try so hard to be unlikeable. And yet here you are.
I dunno, I haven't seen his camera work yet. He's really not much good to us, is he?
That got lost in the text. No problem.Charlie, I'm kidding, dont try so hard to be unlikeable.
You aren't big on sarcasm, huh?Charlie, I'm kidding, dont try so hard to be unlikeable.
And Q speed for the 600 was 180? I defy anyone to tell me he can see a 5 mph difference with the naked eye.
Hey I was clocking lap times for you guys last night from 220 miles away! He's really not much good to us, is he?
Back at ya chief. You aren't big on sarcasm, huh?
and a paper clipHell I thought we were waiting for him to crawl up there and show us what he's got with a call phone and some chewing gum
Teams gonna have to bring in some Sperts car & Indy car guys to help. This isn't looking good at all
Looks to me like they are getting torque dataSure appears having trouble getting wheels tight.
Maybe that funky break-over torque wrench moves further than I expected. Handle was moving close to a foot at the end on some.Looks to me like they are getting torque data
I didnt say it was good data!Maybe that funky break-over torque wrench moves further than I expected. Handle was moving close to a foot at the end on some.
Because that subassembly is obviously as wide as the car itself, it's going to be a massive pain to get it loaded and unloaded onto the truck without knocking it into the inside walls of the trailer. Also yeah getting the frame mounting points lined up, plus the engine and transmission lined up at the same time, would not be as easy as you're making it out to be. What if the garage floor they're on isn't totally level?A caster under splitter with a set of aluminum discs to replace the wheels. Say an 18" "stick" that inserts into frame at 4 points. Car is fixed at frame 18" height. Engine/stub could be at same height. That way guys could safely roll under the car. I'm just thinking about how you do one of these in say 3-4 hours instead of 8.
Capital Race Cars build their dirt late models so you can buy body parts that fit. Complete nose assembly. Pull 8 bolts and knock it off. We used to have to bend them custom. Everything is waterjet cut. You guys CAN do this. If you use dry-break fittings the engine & radiator could be filled.
Here were top speeds from today. SHR had the 7-inch spoiler for part of the session and they had the top speeds.

probably because earnings are up, ratings are up along with attendance I'll never understand people who can't understand that.I will never understand why NASCAR neutered these cars & they won't admit they were wrong. So they'll keep on insisting that the High DF/Low HP package is working when it's clearly not.
Elliott also said that if there was someone who could defy the laws of physics and aerodynamics to let him know. So this guy?
Man some of you are easily defeated. This subassembly would be exactly same width at the car. Have any of you replaced and engine in a FWD car? It all goes out the bottom. Subframe with all suspension attached, engine & trans as an assembly with wiring on it.Because that subassembly is obviously as wide as the car itself, it's going to be a massive pain to get it loaded and unloaded onto the truck without knocking it into the inside walls of the trailer. Not at all. The system they have works well and has for years. Teams have a perfectly good backup car that can be race ready in minutes. If they wreck that one they can use one of their teammates cars who has had better luck.Man some of you are easily defeated. This subassembly would be exactly same width at the car. Level floor? They don't work in Motel parking lots anymore.
I would like to see attendance, ratings data for Las Vegas, Texas, Kansas in particular. Las Vegas had a noticeable attendance decline in Fall 2021 versus Fall 2019.probably because earnings are up, ratings are up along with attendance I'll never understand people who can't understand that.
Look it up.I would like to see attendance, ratings data for Las Vegas, Texas, Kansas in particular. Las Vegas had a noticeable attendance decline in Fall 2021 versus Fall 2019.
