The next time Richard sees little Stevie, there might be some watch holding
See I don't get that vibe. They had a potential plan in place to delay the start of the 600 for him this year if needed.Speaking of Larson there, no doubts now they were extremely petty about him being late to 24 Coke 600 because he chose to stay at Indy. Managerial Boobs that can’t see the bigger picture.

Anywho, regarding the texts, yes plenty of people talk privately like this about co-workers, etc., but when you're a top ranking exec of one of the largest sports organizations in the world speaking that way about an owner in your league...well, that's quite different.

It's already drawn a public reaction from the fans, how do you think the other owners feel after reading that? IMO Phelps won't have a gig much longer. Probably should've took the LIV golf one, seems to suit him quite a bit.
Or maybe fans just want things to you know, get better.
NASCAR is inept and Dennis is an impulsive idiot.
This trial could blow up the entire sport and neither side is willing to put their egos aside and work together to prevent that.
Jim France, Steve Phelps, Steve O'Donnell and company all made their beds.
Still don't change the facts fans aren't "cheering for the death of the sport." They just want **** to be better. But some people here get so butt hurt when you criticize anything NASCAR does and act as if they are ran perfect and no changes need to be made.NASCAR is inept and Dennis is an impulsive idiot.

They’ll still be rich at the end of the day.

Agreed but it's unprofessional to document it. Inadmissible or not, senior executives have been shown the door for similarly questionable judgement.I guarantee you that in every major sport the commissioner or whoever talks that way privately about at least one, if not several, owners.
Yep, and drama queens be drama queens. We going to 150 easily.I guarantee you that in every major sport the commissioner or whoever talks that way privately about at least one, if not several, owners.
To be honest with you everything I've seen so far is pretty mild compared to some of the stuff I've heard out of high level people in my own experience."our fans don't read" someone get that on a t-shirt.
No wonder NASCAR wanted to settle. These guys must've turned pale as ghosts when they learned their internal comms would/could be released.
Win, lose, or draw this court case there's going to be an executive shakeup of epic proportions. How do any of these guys walk into a board room and secure multi-billion dollar deals ever again? They sound like incompetent out-of-touch assholes that reek of desperation and panic. This isn't ruthless corporate decision making its petty, cringe-worthy stuff and insults galore. We've seen 100+ texts already and there's maybe 3 texts that are actual productive thought.

Good thing nobody that reads will ever be on the jury. It's a typical ploy for their lawyers trying to win the case in the eyes of the public opinion. As they say, none of this is admissible in a court of law.
Pretty obvious there was an attempt to get the Arabs involved but it failed so I would suspect there wasn't enough support by the other anchor team owners. But that bunch is still in the picture along with other hedge fund operators. You don’t renovate your house by taking a wrecking ball to it.
The owners should have stood together and refused to sign a charter agreement until they got a fair deal. This lawsuit is a reckless move that could radically alter the sport in a way that makes the CART/IRL split look like a day at Disney World.
Yeah I mean if these emails are any indication of the management team in charge, we can do a lot better. I’m cheering and laughing at THEIR downfall not the sport’s. Let’s face it, the NASCAR Honchos are incredibly inept and vindictive. They truly can’t see past the tv money that they negotiate with the networks, they’re good at that at least….in terms of getting a huge monetary number to get their races broadcast.Still don't change the facts fans aren't "cheering for the death of the sport." They just want **** to be better. But some people here get so butt hurt when you criticize anything NASCAR does and act as if they are ran perfect and no changes need to be made.
I mean yeah, I agree with that? It still doesn't change that KKFan was wrong saying we was cheering for the downfall when we just want NASCAR to be better. You're arguing something completely different my guy.You don’t renovate your house by taking a wrecking ball to it.

They have a task ahead of them if it is in Charlotte, it might work in New York.Good thing nobody that reads will ever be on the jury.
They really made HMS wait for that waiver though right? And agreed, high level management in a big time business like nascar talking about their constituents in this manner is a fireable offense.See I don't get that vibe. They had a potential plan in place to delay the start of the 600 for him this year if needed.

Not if they all do it from the top down. They really made HMS wait for that waiver though right? And agreed, high level management in a big time business like nascsr talking about their constituents in this manner is a fireable offense.
Sure fair enough. I’m eager to see what that looks like and think we will the longer this goes on.Not if they all do it from the top down.

Pretty much this.
So crap talking other people is acceptable then?None of us here are C-suite executives.
No, it isn’t, but the repercussions are greater at the upper levels. So crap talking other people is acceptable then?
What is the pay level where it is no longer acceptable?
Judge Bell could have stopped this from happening. This is going to push a lot of already strained relationships within the garage beyond the breaking point, imo. At a minimum we are probably due to see wholesale turnover within NASCAR management.
Judge Bell made it well-known it was in everybody’s best interests to settle before the dirty laundry began to air.

What did they do to erase them? It was my understanding the series folded on it's own.as in the case of SRX. Not beating the competition. Erasing them.
