If Austin backed out, there more than likely been a bigger wreck from drivers checking up. The 10 was blocking and lost the air off his rearend, Austin did nothing wrong.

You use the term "career altering race" loosely with this one. He and Bayne can stand side by side and say we are Daytona 500 winners. Austin has one more win in his career of 8 years in cup than I do. It will fool some of the people sure. Comparing the two, Bayne at least won his 500 clean. There will always be an asterisk by Dillions win by some of us fans. Got the ring though right? that is all that matters.
Would you say that Bayne's win has alone allotted him the time he has had in the 6 car since? Would he even be in a top flight ride if not for that one day? I would say it's career altering. He could back at home running Super Lates on Saturday night. Dillon will forever have a ride, but a Daytona 500 provides more opportunity and opens more doors for these guys. Yeah it's career altering and I'm not using it loosely.
So wait you got 1 Cup win? You said AD has 1 more than you do and he has two wins. Where did you get your win?You use the term "career altering race" loosely with this one. uh duh..So wait you got 1 Cup win? You said AD has 1 more than you do and he has two wins. Where did you get your win?
So where was your win? Sorry I really don't know.uh duh..
I'll let you continue to ponder, troll or whatever if you can't figure out the intent of the sentence. So where was your win? Sorry I really don't know.

sorry about that, I did a bad /confusing job of acting like an imaginary Bayne was speaking..my bad, no not a driver I wish.Damn, sorry that I was confused and thought maybe you use to be a driver.
Nope I would say Bayne staying in a Roush dump truck parallels Casey Mears staying in the Geico ride for years with no results. It's a head shaker. Dillion like many privileged or silver spooners will stay in the three as long as Childress can finance it. Personally I believe if anyone of the three youngsters that Roush Penske are using in the 60 car in Xfinity had two or three nickels to rub together, they could buy Bayne out of his ride in a heartbeat.
IDK, I do know Geico liked Casey Mears. But when young Ty came along with RCR affiliation, Mears was down the road. I know Buescher came from common folk from Texas, didn't have squat when he joined Almindenger, but they were able to expand Kroger stuff for him and Bubba has had to surmount mountains to continue to be in the sport. I try not to pay any attention to Bayne. I do the same with Reed in Xfinity sponsored by big pharma. Pretty obvious why Reed has been around as long as he has for Roush.Beuscher and Wallace were both in the Roush camp and neither of them were able to unseat Bayne. Do we know if Bayne is bringing the Advocare sponsor to the table?
that's funny I thought Bayne was a fluke when he won. I think Austin is marginally better then he, and I can't wait until Atlanta, but yeah I bet they will have a blurb or two during the season they will run ..because 3
Yes, Bayne had the relationship with Advocare, and he brought that deal to Roush. I don't know what role Bayne's Daytona 500 ring and trophy played in developing that relationship... probably a large role IMO.Beuscher and Wallace were both in the Roush camp and neither of them were able to unseat Bayne. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nascar-auto-racing/thatsracin/article200715159.htmlI think we need more stories about the lucky penny that helped him win the 500, and everyone's heart will melt and Austin will be bigger than Earnhardt, Petty, Elvis, and the Beatles combined.
Tony said he would wreck his mother for the win at Daytona.I think it was Mike Skinner that said he'd wreck his grandma for a win. I can't recall. It's been a long time, and I've slept a lot since then.

I look like a meathead now for bashing him while also being a fan of his but I had bet money on Almirola so I had a little bit of a Kyle Busch temper tantrum . But I really don’t see why people hate on Dillon so much driving wise, he’s won Trucks and Xfinity titles and now has won twice in Cup (Coke 600 and Daytona 500), and made the round of 12 in the chase past 2 years. He strikes me as a Clint Bowyer type and is a solid driver that can win a race every now and then and get consistently finishes. Casey Mears and Paul Menard he is not lol
I am old enough to still be in love with Reba. The commercials where he declares himself a black hat bad a$$ make the Col. Reba commercials look sane.

Tammy and Loretta are right there as well. The creepy KFC commercial aside, Reba is the greatest female country singer in history.
I'd add Patsy to the list.Tammy and Loretta are right there as well.
