BEST STORY OF DAYTONA 2024

One of the stupidest things NASCAR ever did was get rid of the ability of drivers to talk to each other during the race. I thought it would cool to listen to drivers set up runs in real time and coordinate strategy. Going through spotters just adds a needless delay.
This is a hell of a post. Bingo.

You’re like completely missing why they’re at the LA Coliseum to begin with
I know why they’re there. If you make it a points race in the regular season it’ll be 400-500 laps of carnage. That’s why I said might as well run Bowman Gray. The people in LA would never sit through that, either. The 150 laps they run now with concerts in between is perfect for them.

And they don't look idiotic running around nose to tail, waiting for the inevitable?
As long as I don't have to hear "dancing partners" watching a Nascar race, I'm fine not having to watch a couple of dancing partners driving around the track. Maybe those fans would be happier watching dancing with the stars because Nascar is a bit too rough for them.

I would absolutely sit thru that carnage & the only reason I’m not going to the Clash @ LA Coliseum is because it deserves to be a points race & should be at Daytona Speedweeks.

NASCAR fans would absolutely be behind a regular season points race at the LA Coliseum, don’t fool yourself.

As long as I don't have to hear "dancing partners" watching a Nascar race,
'Dancing partners', 'pusher', 'energy', 'manufacturer teammate'; it's all the same to me. While I preferred the tandem over the other forms of plate racing I've watched, I still don't think a driver should have to depend on another one under any circumstances.

And they used to not need restrict the performance of the engines at certain tracks. These cars are nothing like the cars from the 60s and 70s.

So then why are we running tracks from the 60s and 70s like usual. You can hate the stadium race all you want, but it has its place on the schedule once a season IMO just like a dirt race has a place on the Truck Series and/or Cup Series schedule.
