well nascar does have some balls, little ones, but some. i hope they make him sit in the pit box and watch his car race without him.

This discipline is a joke . Like someone else said, how do you justify 4 race suspensions for losing a tire????
The drivers wanted harsh penalties for loose lugs and tires. Tony Stewart lobbied hard for harsh penalties for loose wheels.

Nascar obliged them.

Kinda sad that a driver only gets a suspension and no monetary penalty. He's not in the chase so no big deal missing a race.

Okay, now its been set.

Going to have to stop hyping up "revenge tours". Stupid blocks thrown at Super Speedways, etc.

Consistency is all I'm asking.

A little light on the penalty I would have liked two races but overall I am fairly satisfied. Nascar was never going to make everyone happy in this case

Being suspended for a race is much bigger than a fine. It will not be forgotten as easily with the suspension and Bubba will have a lot of thinking time on his hands this coming weekend

Where was this outage of it not being enough when Noah didn’t get suspended? Why was a fine and points enough? But here it should’ve been suspended, fined, and points?

Nobody cares about the B Main.

That in itself is the problem.
I almost feel like you’re agreeing with me, but saying people don’t care or pay attention to that. I’m trying to get better at reading your post lol
If they properly policed the nonsense that passes for racing in the 2 lower series, people would conduct themselves more appropriately at the top level.

JMO, of course.

Way too light.
I wanted to see a big A$$ owner fine. That's the one that gets attention.
I think points because knowing his actions hurt the team, seems he would take that to heart more than this one race. The car will go on.

I don't understand how Kenneth got a 2 race suspension while he didn't physically attack logano after wards and he didn't put his hands on an official.

Yep, I can surely agree with that. Like got to get that **** in their head before they reach the top

I'm fine with this penalty. Sitting a driver out a week hurts way more than money and points. I'd also require him to be at the track all weekend

Not sure if it matter but can they appeal this?

Wallace was squeezed into the wall by Larson during the race and responded by intentionally crashing the other driver. After taking a few days to review the incident, NASCAR has made an official decision on Wallace.

According to NASCAR reporter Jeff Gluck, the racing federation has suspended Wallace for one race.

Clipping Larson was more dangerous than what Kenseth did a Martinsville for sure.

The only defense I can give is that it was more of a deliberate but still knee jerk clipping on Wallace's part whereas Kenseth had weeks to simmer down and still carried out the deed.

It is all subjective but I was as bothered by Wallace's bullying Larson and putting his hands on the official and then lying about it, as I was with the clipping in the spite of it being the greatest danger. He had a few minutes to collect himself or get it together as things progressed but he didn't.

So, none of you wanna let me know why you wasn’t this outraged by Noah? Shame. Figured one of you at least would have stepped up.

This is the thing, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

NASCAR needs to step up, yes. We know this all to well, but this as we just discussed earlier, needs to be applied at all levels. It took this accident unfortunately to out the writing in the sand.

All the other noise, eh no reason to be concerned by it.

I’m glad Bubba got suspended, even if a race or two less than I thought for, but this is legitimately the third or fourth incident this year where someone just wrecked a guy intentionally under green and got away relatively unscathed. Gragson at Road America and Hocevar at IRP are the two that come to mind, and I’m wondering if those two plus Byron’s appeal win for the yellow incident hasn’t signaled to drivers they’ve been given carte blanche to do whatever the hell it is they feel like, whenever.

This is a good starting point though, and I hope we keep it consistent into the future.

Didn't see the Noah incident, did he wreck someone for no reason, get of his car on the track, push a official the attack the driver that didn't hit him?
Noah did the first part, and took out more than mutip cars in the process of doing so. He didn’t fight after. But pretty sure some drivers got hurt in the wreck. This was at Road America this year.

The shaming means nothing to me help yourself. But @aunty dive already B main covered it.
I don't watch xfinity races in real time and a lot of times I don't even finish them on the DVR. I was watching when Wallace clipped Larson.

It doesn’t change it happened, and he wasn’t even set out a race. Just a small fine and some points, which hasn’t hurt him one bit.

He drives for JRM so there's a bit of teflon protection there...
