I think it probably has more to do with it being cooler and they are pushing the engines a little harder.

No but they do prior to firing the car up the next day. Heaters are hooked up between sessions whenever the engine has cooled down.
LOL, that engine would really be screwed up if the cylinders realigned into an inline engine.Logano probably down to a straight 4 now.
